inexpensive but you get what you pay for.

this place was clean and nice location. the problem is nobody was there that worked there. all by phone or email. the guests slept anywhere they wanted not in assigned beds. owners watched through security cameras.

This hostel is a tiny 2 bedroom apartment where they try to jam 20+ people in. The two small bathrooms are disgusting as there are no staff to clean them and they are overcrowded. Everything smells and is dirty. I paid for an 8 person room and there were at least 9 as the bed beside me had two people in it. The only positive is the price and location but you can save more money and get a great location by sleeping at the train station or homeless shelter, both of which would be cleaner and less crowded. They appear to have changed their name from the piano hostel - have a look at those reviews and if you don’t like bed bugs you may want to stay somewhere else.

2 bathrooms (toilet + shower) shared amongst 20 bunk beds. This might get busy when full. Not the prettiest hostel I've stayed at. But place was clean, sheets were clean and the hostel is 2 min walk from the train station. Lots of shops, restaurants and sights within 2-10 min walk.

Clean and equipped, sound proof & security is poor

It was clean and tidy, basically a hostel should be. Though from outside it looked a bit shabby and easy to break in....And indeed during our stay there was a guy trying to get in without PIN code, and claimed that he booked with the hostel. Thank god one of us stayed there was alert and didn't allow him. Suggest the hostel should take extra care about this issue, otherwise you should be careful of your belongings kept there. (There was locker for valuables which cost 10 Kr without returning back. Considering cash payment is rare Norway now and the hostel's security is a bit poor, it's not really feasible) Equipped kitchen connected next to the living room, but next door is rooms and the sound proof is just worse. So if ppl chatting in the living room will get awaken easily when sleeping.

Dortoirs pas tres grands pour 8 lits. Ils manquent de ventilation, pas de fenêtre, ainsi que dans les sanitaires qui manquent de porte manteau. Manque de casseroles dans les cuisines. Très propre.

You get what you pay for.

Affordable place to stay but not comfortable with the environment around. Stuffy room with no windows especially packed with backpackers (smells). No fan and too hot in the room. Sweaty whole night when sleeping. Waking up few times cause of noises.
