Dinner here is delicious. The room seems to be remodeled and the bathroom has heated floors. The shower drain actually drains well unlike many other Berlin hotels where you will be standing in a puddle of water.

The staff are this property’s driving force. Courteous, helpful, efficient, friendly, responsive, they are the hotel’s best asset. Check in and out extremely streamlined. Location is the second best asset. Close to many dining options (highly recommend the Indian restaurant in the corner for the best curry!) There’s a huge mall and Alexanderplatz is within easy walking distance. Museums, the Brandenburg Gate all within walking distance. The hotel restaurant was also convenient with a tasty breakfast buffet and good drinks for dinner. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the room well stocked. The only negative issue I had had to do with the cleanliness of the linen and rooms. I would highly recommend the hotel changes their linen service. The towels and bed sheets were dingy, not dirty per se but not pristine. This was the only thing and I realize this is normally outsourced so I don’t want to detract from the hotel experience. Overall I highly recommend this hotel especially if you’re looking for an excellent location to explore Berlin.

The location was great. However the rooms were not cleaned. The towels were very poor quality and one of them was grey and was frayed. I stayed for three nights and requested my room be cleaned on the second day. Despite asking at 0800 and again asking at 1500 this did not occur. It was very frustrating since the place is advertised as having daily house keeping. They need to hire more staff to address this fundamental issue.

On arrival our room smelt of drains, this did clear. The carpet in the room was stained which was disappointing. One of the towels had a visible hole and was ripped this was replaced on request. Although the towels were well used and worn although clean. On arrival the reception staff were not particularly welcoming, on other occasions the staff varied from being friendly and smiling to being somewhat sullen. The breakfast menu was excellent and when we ate in the dining room the food was excellent.

Yes all good. Only disappointment was twin beds very uncomfortable and pillows very flat and had to ask for extra pillow. Nice sized room but no comfortable chair to sit on. Requested chairs rather than sit on bed.
