This hotel doesn't provide basic stuff such as hair conditioner and body lotion. I'd also suggest to have safety boxes in rooms. These are all pretty standard in the majority of hotels.

i liked the most, the location and the staff were eager to help , but my only comment was when approaching the front desk upon arrival, on the 11th of January to complete my check in procedure, i was disappointed to see that on their computer, and my paper, they wrote that my home country was Israel, while my home country is Lebanon which i am very proud of. My question is, whose mistake was it??? or was it on purpose??

We really enjoyed our stay and we liked that you could chose no cleaning and receive a free drink! Better for the environment and we enjoyed our drink! Only way it could of been better for us is that the room doors really slam hard which disturbed us. But it is in a great location and staff were friendly.

I liked the fact it was close to a lot of food options, however the hotel itself was underwhelming and was just ok. The staff were not very helpful, seeing as how we got there a couple minutes earlier than the check in point, and they made us wait as she just stood there. Overall, the hotel was ok, the food was meh, and the room was eh.

Nice hotel, staff are great, breakfast was the only let down, same every day, basic, Would have been so nice if some German sausage or bacon, we did ask if they could do an omelette but was told no.

We loved our stay at Holiday Inn Express. Location was amazing. 10 min walk from Zoological Garden Metro, very quiet area, very safe. Shops are 5-10 min walk, including KADEWE, which is too pricey, but there are others. Staff is the best aspect of the hotel. Breakfasts were great. Coffee unlimited, vegetables, meat, boiled eggs, yogurt, sereals. No omelets or scrambled eggs, no sausage, otherwise it's a regular American style hotel breakfast. Elevators are fast. Everything worked in the room and it was clean. Beds were very comfy. We highly recommend this hotel and we will visit again for sure.

We came to Berlin for the Berlin Marathon at the end of September and this hotel was a great location for the race. My stay in the Holiday Inn Express in City Centre-West was a lovely experience. Staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. The continental breakfast was amazing! fruits were fresh and nicely laid out for guests to serve themselves. The dining area seats plenty of people and is very clean. The hotel neighborhood was quiet, but lively enough with restaurants, and a huge mall about a 10 minute walk away. The rooms were a comfortable size, bathrooms were clean.and ample, and beds were comfortable. The front desk can call you a cab to the TXL airport, which is about 20 Euros. I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again.

We were there to run Berlin Marathon. Was asking for a late check out for one of the two rooms, but told no. Reason = fully booked, all the rooms would be checked in < 3 PM (somehow they know that for a FACT, NO LATE ARRIVAL period) all their cleaning staff will leave at 2 PM sharp. Let’s not argue if all these were true or if anyone was lying. I just don’t believe any of that. We had to check out at 6 AM before the race, store bags with them. When returned from the race at 2:30 PM. It rained and we were all wet. We were asking for a few towels. The 2 front staff (1 lady and 1 guy) were willing to do so, but a lady in a back office was scolding them LOUDLY, saying we checked out already, they shouldn’t give us any towels… Are you in the hospitality business or not? We have been to Chicago marathon and Tokyo, all very accommodating, knowing we were there for marathon, running for hours, not this place. Is b/c Germany are like that? Can anyone tell me?
