Welcome to our second place nestled in the country side. Where we hope you can spend your time relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and the abundance of wildlife. Wakeup to the sights and sounds of birds singing, sheep quietly grazing, Scottish Highland cattle calling and horses trotting on a quiet country morning. Expect to see deer grazing the property seemingly unaware of quite spectators as the sun starts to rise and burns off the morning dew. Our place is newly remodeled and ready for your stay. If you require even more space then checkout our other property the original Country's Edge located conveniently next door.

This place was amazing! We love all the scriptures around the house and getting to see the animals outside. We enjoyed feeding the kittens in the morning and at night. We came into town for a VBS conference at the Ark and will definitely recommend and hopefully stay here again next time. The host was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had.

The home is beautifully decorated and had all the things we needed for our stay, and the view was so calming, the added view of the farm animals took it to another level. Very quiet area, it was some much needed family time and this was a great place for it

We have rented for over 20 years with VRBO, and have never rented anything close to the cleanliness of this home, the quietness of this home, the beautiful surrounding of this home.We absolutely loved our stay. There was so much room. The laundry room was phenomenal. Having a table with more than three chairs was fantastic. The pool/air hockey table, made for some laughable moments. The sound of nature upon waking and laying down to sleep was so relaxing. The sunrise is perfect on the little hilltop and the sunset captures your attention as well. The home owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The ONLY issue we had (my group was all 50 aged women) was almost tripping and falling over the eight cats that were constantly underfoot, going outside to drink coffee or eat a sandwich was not something we were able to do because the cats would immediately pounce on us, and try to drink out of our cups or to get on our plates and eat our sandwiches.It was not an ideal situation as the whole reason we rented this home was for the outside area and it was kind of awkward looking in the pantry and seeing the cat food and knowing that if we did not take the responsibility of feeding someone else’s pet every morning, they would not eat for the entire four days that we were there. AND we learned early that the family’s dog will come eat all the cat food if you feed them and don’t watch out for him. Apart from that, this is a perfect home for anyone.

Peaceful Country Home

My family enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The setting was picturesque. Our children enjoyed the extra bonus of kittens on the back porch!
