Lizzies Cottage is a feature 2 bedroom Stone Terraced Cottage set in an idyllic and peaceful location, Lizzies has been recently converted and undergone a complete renovation to form a charming cottage of great character and comfort. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped new Kitchen, luxury family Bathroom, open plan Lounge/Diner with sunny aspect and Electric log Burning style stove. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms and a separate Toilet. South facing garden with patio and lawn.

Communication from the very start was A1 from the owner. Detailed check in information given a week or so before our stay and very easy to follow. Cottage was perfect, clean, homely, and an ideal size for our family..Good internet, which is a must if you have teenagers, we brought our own Fire stick which fitted easily in the back of the TV, ideal for the kids, and us. Good public transport right outside the property so just need to check the bus timetables...used the bus 3 times whilst we were there which is nice if you don't want to drive.All in all I cannot fault our stay, we were warmly welcomed by the owner before and during our visit and everything was perfect for a really relaxing break.

Wonderful Stay at Lizzies Cottage

This cottage is exactly as advertised. It's clean and very comfortable. A lovely welcome basket provided, very much appreciated. We met the owner Jacqui, as she also owns the cottage next door too. She is a lovely lady and asked if everything was okay, were we warm enough and did we have everything we needed. We would stay here again. The area is beautiful and the cottage is perfect. Fabulous stay.

This will be our 3rd stay at Lizzies/Mona's cottages. We just love the relaxed feeling, cosy decor and the great location, which is handy for visiting nearby attractions. We'll certainly be back.

We booked Lizzies Cottage for a few days following my wife completing the Edinburgh marathon. The property was very comfortable and extremely well equipped & spotlessly clean. Super sauber - Sehr unkompliziertes Buchungsverfahren - Schnelle Kommunikation - Einwandfrei!!! ***** Lediglich das Haus war uns an einigen Stellen etwas zu eng (zB Bett, KĂŒche, Dusche) und insbesondere das Nachbarhaus sehr messihaft (Garten, MĂŒll vor dem Haus), so dass wir hier im Gesamturteil einen Stern abziehen.

Schönes Ferienhaus an der KĂŒste

Ein schönes, gepflegtes Ferienreihenhaus an der KĂŒste - ideal als Standort fĂŒr schöne KĂŒstenwanderungen, AusflĂŒge nach Edinburgh, an den Hadrians Wall und die herrlichen Schlösser in der Umgebung. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hat uns gute Tipps fĂŒr unsere AusflĂŒge gegeben. Die Ausstattung entsprach der Beschreibung auf der Buchungswebseite. Die KĂŒche war gut ausgestattet und die Vermieterin hatte ein schönes Willkommenskörbchen (Tee, Honig, Marmelade, Milch, sehr leckere Kekse u.a.) bereitgestellt. GewĂŒrze und Öl sowie SpĂŒlmaschinentabs u. a. sind vorhanden. Betten sehr bequem. GroßzĂŒgiger, fester Parkplatz direkt vor der HaustĂŒr. Einfach zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Lovely comfortable cottage with private garden. Well appointed with tasteful decor. Bus stop outside the cottage to Berwick(10 min) should you want to leave the car, also buses to Seahhouses and Bamburgh. There is a short drive,or longer walk , from the cottage to a lovely beach with interesting rocks formations.

We would love to return here. The cottage was very clean and it’s obvious that the owner has thought about all of the little touches.Its placed in a lovely quiet spot. The beds were so comfy! Very handy having the bus stop right outside of the cottage.

The house was amazing lots of space for kids to be doing their own thing when the weather was poor. Apparently there were heating issues but Jaqueline and her husband had it well under control and sorted. They were delightful hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect holiday stay

This property is fantastic in every way. Location is easy accessible to most areas around from beach to castles perfect. The property is faultless from the decor to the size and it’s wonderful garden . The beds were super comfy and cleanliness to a very high standard . Beautiful house and gorgeous garden for the children to run in. It was the first time we stayed in this village but we found it really easy to pop to Bamburgh beach with the children each day. Really impressed.

Beautifully presented holiday cottage

My wife and I were very happy with Lizzies Cottage. The property was spotlessly clean and check in process couldn't have been simpler. The cottage is spacious and well appointed with a huge garden!! The location is fantastic for visiting the nearby beaches and towns. No pub though unfortunately but Berwick is 30min walk or 5 min car ride away and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants there. Jacqueline was fantastic host and gave us some great tips.
