This was our second year renting this house, and we love the location! It's a very short walk to the beach, and also a short walk into town. The main living area is great for large family groups, and the kiddos in our group enjoyed the toys. Unfortunately, the HVAC system failed before we arrived and was unable to be repaired during our stay, which led to hot bedrooms, including for our toddler. We also had some difficulty communicating with the owner about minor repairs.

Family beach vacation

This property met all our needs for bedrooms and baths. Grandparents, two couples, and five grandchildren. The large screened porch offered a great place to eat and gather. There are two sets of washers and dryers that help with all that laundry. The kitchen is well equipped, too. A small beverage refrigerator was very convenient. The A/C works great and there are large hot water tanks so nobody had to take a lukewarm shower. It's a short walk to the beach and to the shops. We had a great view of the fireworks from the upstairs deck! I highly recommend this property.

Great house near the beach

This is a great house a pleasant 5 minute walk from the beach along a wide but lovely and quiet street. The house is very clean and has plenty of room and multiple spaces for small groups to hang out. An excellent space for a large family or a gathering.

Good for families

Nicely decorated and equipped house. Very clean. It would be good for 2 families with kids. 2-block walk to the beach was do-able with toddlers. It helped that we brought a foldable cart and beach chairs. Easy walk to the boardwalk and shopping area. Suggest owner add a knife sharpener to the kitchen. There must have been 30 knives, none of which were sharp.

Perfect beach getaway

This is a great place to stay with family and friends. It’s super close to the beach and downtown Bethany. The screened in porch was nice and the Sesame Street toys were an added bonus for the kids. Definitely recommend!

Give me light

The property was clean and generally met the needs of our family of eleven. However,It was basic and somewhat worn and lacking in upkeep. Twelve lightbulbs were burned out. “ TWELVE”. They should have been replaced before we arrived! Also, two blinds were not working properly. It was 5 minutes from the beach and about 5 blocks from the shops and restaurants. This rental was over priced should have been several thousand less. Would not rent again.
