There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Public spaces have free WiFi. An outdoor pool, barbecue grills, and a garden are also featured at Beachfront At Bicheno. Free self parking is available.
Very good bed, but otherwise very poor accommodation. No microwave, crockery, cutlery or space to put a second suitcase in the apartment. Cramped shower in the bath, no non- slip mat available until asked for.
Close proximity to visitor's Centre and starting point of most tours. Beautiful scenery, the pub adjoined is nice. The girl at the counter was really helpful. I got bitten badly by myriads of insects, but thatâs not the hotelâs fault. Hotel amenities are basic, but
the penguins, the wildlife Centre and the blow hole are all great tourist attractions. Overall, a very nice visit.
The property is a great location. Walkable to cafes and the beach. The decor could do with being updated. Also, not having any service of the room for a 3 night stay was not great. Using the same facecloth not my thing! The outside table was not clean - previous guests spilt food and coffee on it. Also take note thereâs no cutlery, kitchenware or toaster in the room but it can be asked for. Thankfully, the location was excellent and there wasnât much road noise. Receptionist on check in very helpful and friendly.
Very large, modern rooms and in a great location! Short walks to the penguin tours, cafes and food, and to the beach and foreshore. Having the bistro attached was very convenient and they have great food! (The best pub chips!)
We had a short one night stay at this motel while travelling around Tasmania. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated but was comfortable.
Good size room, clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy. Bistro next door had decent reasonably priced meals which was very handy after a long day of travel. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Units were modern but fell short of expectations in some respects. The shower was very roomy but no shelf in shower and the hot water was luke warm only. Cannot understand how a hotel hot water system cannot provide reliable hot water in 2025. Minimal provision of kitchen items. Miniscule drinking glasses - why? No microwave oven - why not? Not really enough power points to plug in usual techo items. Absolutely unsafe drop (more than half a metre drop off) from car parking spaces to room front door including bumping head on the hotel roof - I kid you not. No safety railing. I do not recommend.
Overpriced for what it offers, No daily service and no facility to have breakfast.
The rooms are like an army barracks and very cheaply appointed.
Would advise anyone to not stay there.
Room was clean and tidy with lovely view of the ocean.
Light over bathroom basin was flickering which was quite annoying.
Tavern attached to the property was horrible. A hugh caverous space with the ambience of Bunnings. Boring menu.
Fri and Sat night we were subjected to a thumping disco. So not appropriate for a place attached to accomodation.
