While air conditioning is absent, nature compensates with its own cooling system - the fresh mountain air.

Mountain Transit’s new Free Big Bear Trolley service is here! Three convenient routes (Red, Blue,
Gold) take riders to most of the visitor attractions and amenities in Big Bear, including the ski resorts,
Boulder Bay, The Village, Supermarkets, and the Airport. For the first time, public transit will serve the
Big Bear Airport on a scheduled route. This transportation service will offer convenient and reliable
transportation for both locals and visitors and help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the
Valley.

We had a wonderful trip!! This house is lovely!!! Fully stocked, very clean, comfortable, has tons of room, and all the fun stuff to play! The view is insane, so beautiful! Only negative is the stairs are awful, but that has nothing to do with the house condition. Just be prepared to get a workout! Two cars can fit in the garage and two in the driveway. The communication with property management was excellent! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
We really enjoyed this property. The view from the balcony looking over the mountain is really nice. Better than the pictures! Property management was extremely responsive. Fantastic home for a large gathering.
This was a wonderful cabin close to the lifts (short drive time) that had space for all ages. The teens definitely enjoyed the gaming room and the massaging chair was constantly fought over! It was a lot of stairs to get to the front door so keep that in mind when booking. Otherwise, house and property managers were wonderful!
I cannot say enough about the elegance of this home. Everyone was amazed when each walked in the door. The view, the charm the craftsman ship was off the chart. We had our three sons their wives and my nine grandchildren. I highly recommend this beautiful place. Oh the pictures do not do it justice. We’ll be back. And special thanks to all involved to make this happen.
Overall, everything was great. The property management was very communicative before check in and even updated us on road closures.
The property itself was perfect. Very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The only issue was that the listing said that 6 cars would fit as the max. That means smaller cars. We had to figure out where to park 2-3 of our vehicles because they did not safely fit in the garage driveway area. The listing says to ask about additional parking if needed. We did and did not get any help other than try calling this place or at your own risk suggestions. We figured something out, but it was a little surprising that it’s listed on the properties page, but no solid suggestions were provided.
Also, the trash drop off gave us a bit of a difficult time.
Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely recommend, especially if you’re a large group or family!
SoCal vacation was absolutely great from the beginning. Before booking, I had a few questions, and they were great and very prompt when answering them. Also showed some flexibility on some of our needs, which was very good to see.
Unfortunately, as we got closer to the stay, there were some issues with the house we had originally booked, but they were prompt to notify us of this and offer several options. We were moved to a different house, which the entire family loved! We ended up moving to The Hidden Estate, and everyone had a great time there. The house was big, had plenty of space for all 16 of us. We only had 3 cars, but there was definitely space for more. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We cooked breakfast there every day, and had every item that you would expect in a fully functional kitchen. The house has a big yard, so the kids really enjoyed that, and the adults and infants were able to spend plenty of time on the deck.
Checkout was great. We notified the team of some issues we created, and they were very understanding of this, which was a great surprise.
In short, everyone really enjoyed the house, and kept saying how great it was. I would definitely recommend it for big families, and if we are able to come back next year, I will surely be looking to book it again, or at least to book again any of the properties with SoCal vacations.
