Welcome to Water's Edge Estate, an AvantStay home!

Relax on the water, in the huge back yard, in the extra-large hot tub, or in the comfy and expansive house with upgraded amenities throughout. Within a quick walk to Holloway's Marina and a few minute's drive to the ski slopes, shopping, or entertainment, this home is ideally located. A fabulously furnished estate, with an inviting floor plan, the upper entry-level offers three bedrooms with great views of the trees and lake. One floor down is the large living room, kitchen, and movie room. The outdoor attached deck offers dining and a natural gas BBQ. The spacious gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essentials for cooking including cookware, high-end appliances, and breakfast bar seating.

Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature lover’s paradise provides endless year-round activities. In the winter, Big Bear Lake offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. In the summer, visitors love to play water sports, horseback rides, golf, hike, and mountain bike. Head to Big Bear when you need a healthy dose of fresh air, exercise, and rejuvenation.

Home Truths:
- Each bedroom features brand new mattresses.
- This home accepts a maximum of 2 pets. But pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Use of outdoor spas and other outdoor activities are prohibited from 10 pm - 7 am.
​​​​​​​- No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time. Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.
- Winter weather warning- From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle.
- Please note that the boat parked at the dock is NOT available for guest use.
- This home can accommodate 16 people but a maximum of 14 adults.
- Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property.
- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

You will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Ideal family get-away in the snow
We made this family trip for my daughter's 4th birthday. The house/location met and exceeded our expectations. It really was the perfect fit for us. The layout was great for 2 young kids and a bunch of adults to have space but not be too removed from each other. The rooms and bathrooms were nice with firm, but reasonably comfortable beds. The kitchen was easy to use, and there were more spices available than most rentals. We really lucked out with the weather. It snowed the day we arrived, and the property has a great area for littles to sled and have a snowball fight. The ONE negative, is that I went to book for the same dates next year, and the house is listed to rent for DOUBLE the price. I'll keep checking back to see if the price lowers, as we would love to come back to this property!

This house was gorgeous. It had all amenities, games, lake access, hot tub, and a fully stocked kitchen. We stayed here for Oktoberfest. It’s a 20 minute drive from Oktoberfest festivities.

Property was about average, nothing great.
The over all property was just so so. .The house Ok but, too may small steps ever were and not much nature lighting Not safe. All the beds were too hard and most everybody sleep on the sofa. No air conditioning and it has hot during the day. The kitchen was great, well equipped with everything. 2 refrigerators. and plenty of storage. Lots of common area for every body. The outside was in poor condition, 50% of the lighting did not work, dangerous to walk after sundown. The pathway to the dock was not acceptable, too dangerous for the children's and girls. The Barbeque and the jacuzzi is not in good condition. Considering every thing we all have a good time. However we will not come back to this property, / Tad
