Welcome to "The Jewel View Cottages” Units 1 to 4 Condos

“The Jewel View Cottages” provides a premier year-round vacation spot. The Flathead Valley in Northwest Montana is ideal for a journey with family or friends and is a year-round adventurer's paradise. Each unit is a one-floor design with a King Master bedroom and Full bath tastefully furnished and suitable for families, groups of friends, or couples. Accommodates up to four, with the living area providing a comfortable Queen sofa bed. Each unit provides fully equipped with Heat/AC, a full kitchen with granite countertops, and an eating bar with four bar stools. The living area offers a streaming large-screen TV, two outdoor front porch chairs, and a table for the Guests' enjoyment. The Primary Bedroom has a king-sized bed where you can retire after a fun-filled day and dream about the great fun you had that day. The units are also guest friendly as the pull-out couch (Queen) offers sleep for two. The communal area provides barbecues, a large gas fire pit in the central courtyard, and common coin-operated laundry machines that all guests are welcome to use. It is located on the lower level of the Cottages building. The laundry area has an electronic lock and is open 24/7. Additionally, units one and two, three and four, and five and six offer common lockable doors between each unit. Parking is provided.

NOTE:
Units 1, 2, 3, and 4 do not allow pet/s.
Units 5 and 6 are pet friendly.

Welcome to "The Jewel Basin Center" and Pickleball Club
The desire to build "The Jewel" stemmed from a passion for the Bigfork Village neighborhood in the Northwest. The Swan River, which has the final mile of its course known as "The Wild Mile" and flows into Bigfork from the stunning Mission Mountains to the south, empties into the little community of Bigfork Bay. The mighty Flathead River, which empties into Flathead Lake just west of the venue site, surrounds The Jewel as well. The venue offers the open-air Montana experience in "The Last Best Place" The Jewel Basin is surrounded by gorgeous pastureland.

PLEASE READ, Essential information regarding Glacier National Park and your Booking:
1. 2024 - Glacier National Park made recent changes to their access to the scenic Going to the Sun Road located inside Glacier National Park. This year will be the fourth year with a new vehicle reservation ticketing system that is required to access the Scenic Going to the Sun Road from May 24th- September 8th for 2024. Reservation tickets are required to access every entrance inside the park.
2. East Glacier Entrance via St. Mary's and Two Medicine Lake area will not require a reservation ticket.
3. PRIOR TO FINALIZING YOUR BOOKING: Please see the Glacier National Park webpage for updates regarding 2024 ticketing and access. NO BOOKINGS WILL BE REFUNDED BASED ON THE NON-AVAILABILITY OF GLACIER PARK TICKETING
4. Should you not get a vehicle reservation ticket: You can still access park entrances before gates open for the day (6:00am) and after they close for the day (3:00pm) without a ticket. You can also access the East side of the park entrance with no vehicle reservation ticket. You can also hike or bike through any entrance without a ticket.
5. Everyone is required to have a National Parks Pass to enter any entrance of the park. You can purchase these in advance or when you arrive at the park.

Quiet time
Just a few suggestions. Needs better sound barrier. Could hear neighbors conversations. Needs a night light in bathroom, so light doesn't come on directly in sleepers eyes. Great location for Glacier area.

We loved the location of the property and seemed to be the only people in the complex so it was nice and quiet. The only things we didn’t like, there was a little ant infestation in the bathroom and the front door didn’t have a lock from the inside. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Meh. Probably do a hotel next time.
Check in was absolutely frustrating. The 3rd party rental system would not accept our CC. Contacted the PMC, they said my card was declined. Understandable when dealing with a lot of short term stay renters, however in my case it was not. Googled the error and it indicated a misconfiguration with the 3rd party system. Contacted property managers again and they finally contacted their vendor who just processed the payment manually. The actual unit was fine - dust bunnies under the bed, but overall nice and clean. The location is reasonable, but kinda tucked in behind a bowling alley and athletic center. Parking was weird and mildly annoying. All the units face a shared courtyard, with a firepit ring in the center. Sounds cool, but it's definitely a communal environment. There is not much space between the unit front doors and the grass, the walkway is taken up with chairs. The shades on the front of the unit don't completely block visibility into the unit. Meaning, if you sit on the couch with the shades closed, someone can still see you from the courtyard. Also, the units have shared walls with some insulation - but not enough to drown out a crying baby/toddler in the unit next door. If you're a social person and staying with some friends, not a bad place. If you're a couple looking for some quiet time, prob find a different spot. We'll likely just do a hotel next time.

Bigfork Stay
It was a great place to stay, I was raised in Bigfork and have never had to find a place to stay, my Mother just pasted and we sold our home, so it is really hard for me to have to pay for someplace to stay after all these years, but it was a great place to stay. Just wish you allowed pets, I had to board my dog. Thank You, Patti
