KINGFISHER COTTAGE Beachfront at Bay of Fires

Kingfisher Cottage, formerly one of the Bay of Fires Character Cottages, has the absolute best location at the Bay of Fires. You only have to walk a few steps to be sitting on Binalong Bay Beach, or even less will have you sitting on the deck at the local restaurant. This cottage has been a favourite holiday destination for many years. Recently the new owner has purchased all new bedding, kitchen accessories, large flat screen TV & DVD, dining table, couches and really comfy deck furniture, to help their guests enjoy the wonderful experience that is the Bay of Fires. They even supply gourmet coffee! FREE FAST WIFI is available. There is a full length, ENLARGED DECK to enjoy the fabulous views from.

The cottage has been repainted throughout, giving it a beautiful relaxed beach ambience, which is bright and airy. You will just love your stay here, and won't want to go home.

Kingfisher Cottage sleeps 6 guests, in 2 bedrooms, both with views of Binalong Beach and along the Bay of Fires. There is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen, with ocean and beach views from all areas. One bathroom services the cottage.

If you want to really experience the Bay of Fires - up close and personal - then this is the cottage for you.

The house itself is run down which is to be expected due to its age. The kitchen is functional and overall cleanliness was not too bad. The beds just about broke me but all of this really didn’t bother us too much as the location is second to none and our 2 dachshunds were welcome. Jan the property manager was friendly and helpful.

A wonderful View

We had a wonderful stay at Kookaburra Cottage. The position of this house was a standout. Blessed with gorgeous beach weather and stunning sunsets, it was a magical place to be. The house was so well presented and set up for a relaxed laid-back holiday.

Amazing location and cute house.

We had a fabulous stay here. I only wish it was for longer. You cannot beat the location of this cottage. Beautiful views, short walk directly across the road to the beach, and a great cafe next door for coffee and afternoon drinks/dinner. The house itself was very cute, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Highly recommend for a stay.

Cute little stay in Binalong Bay

My friend and I really enjoyed staying in this property. It was very clean and comfortable and we could have easily stayed longer. If we ever visit Binalong Bay again, I will definitely book this accommodation again.

Fabulous front row

We only had one night, so the proximity of the cottage to the beautiful beach and nearby restaurant was perfect. Everything is oriented to enjoying the spectacular view in comfort. Can't wait to return one day for a longer stay!

Blissful Beach Escape

Wow, just wow! The house itself is not fancy, nor large, nor upmarket - but it has everything you need and is in THE best location in Binalong Bay. Comfy beds, hot shower and views that make your heart break a little with their peaceful beauty. Lie in bed at night and listen to the waves and smell the lightly salted air. Sit on the deck with a morning cuppa or pop into Meresta Eatery, two doors down; open all day and the friendliest staff ever. Walk the glorious white sands directly across from the house and watch the dolphins feeding, or maybe spot a whale - don't forget to take binoculars! Spectacular walks nearby lead to some of the most incredible beaches and rocky outcrops on the planet. Oh, and best yet - the house is pet friendly, so our toy poodle was in his element, playing on the beach and being loved by all he encountered. I highly recommend a relaxed retreat at Kingfisher Cottage - we will difinitely return!

Excellent Property Wonderful Location

Kingfisher Cottage was everything we hoped for and more. Its location with beautiful views over Binalong Bay was fantastic, right opposite the beach and next door to a great cafe that served good coffee and breakfast, lunch & dinner. The house was equipped with everything we needed including beach towels, a good laundry, very comfortable beds and stylish decor. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. Just a short drive into St Helens where good shops and restaurants are available. Stop in at Lease 65 for some of the best oysters you’ll ever taste.
