The surrounding area offers numerous excursion options for your visit: the Prora Documentation Center, the Prora Center, the Rügen Classic Car Museum, the Rügen NVA Museum, the Galileo World of Knowledge Rügen, the Binz-Prora Climbing Forest, and the Rügen Nature Heritage Center with its treetop trail, as well as the popular Karls Adventure Village in Zirkow. Within walking distance, you’ll find two bakeries, several bistros, and a restaurant, along with small fashion and souvenir shops and a bike rental shop. A sailing school is located about 3 km away. At the nearby Dormero Strandhotel (approx. 800 m), you can purchase day passes and enjoy the pool, sauna, and fitness area to your heart’s content.
