Nestled at the foot of Ruffner Mountains, our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom East Lake Stunner offers comfort and convenience. The highlight is a spacious main bathroom with a soaking tub, double vanity, and roomy shower. Just 8 miles north, you'll find downtown Birmingham's vibrant museums and nightlife. The beautiful Ruffner foothills are only a mile away. Our photos include both professional shots and real-time images from our cleaning team, so you know exactly what to expect. We'd love to host you!

Welcome to our stunning, newly updated East Lake home! Upon arrival you will need to navigate 7 stairs which will lead you to the front door. After you enter our home you will be greeted with our living room which has plenty of seating, a large flat screen TV equipped with Roku as well as a queen size sleeper sofa. The dining room sits just off the right of the living room and leads directly into our adorable kitchen. Fully stocked with stainless steel appliances you will be able to settle in and feel "at home" as soon as you arrive. The Master suite has a king size bed with an amazing in-suite bathroom. With its double sinks, giant soaking tub and large shower it might just be your favorite room in the house! 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two full size beds as well as an additional full bath complete the inside of our home. We sit on a corner lot which provides a generous size yard great for kids and pets! This is a transitioning neighborhood. We think it is great, and have never had any security issues, but we understand that everyone has different experiences and want to make sure you are comfortable in our home. If you are concerned about the neighborhood, we would be happy to talk with you about it and answer any questions. We will not provide a refund upon arrival if you decide you do not like the area. ***A pack 'n play/travel crib is available upon request.***

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Property was littered with trash, dead bugs, and was not well maintained or cleaned. Dishes were dirty, hand soap wasn’t provided in hallway bathroom, bed sheets, pillows and towels (the few that were provided) were obviously well used and some were dirty upon arrival. Table was on the verge of being unusable, and bedframes weren’t fully assembled, front door wouldn’t close unless forcible pulled in and deadlocked, wallpaper was falling off. As for the yard I now see why pictures are limited, the fence was falling apart and not secure, picnic table and flower planters were broken and rotting, yard was full of glass and waste upon arrival and the grill hasn’t been cleaned this decade and was used as a secondary trash can. If this was my sole experience with VRBO and I didn’t have past good experiences I would personally never use this service again.
Air vents seem to never be cleaned (all of them were in this same condition)
Glass scattered throughout whole yard
Had to clear a path for dogs to be walked to neighboring field to go to the bathroom
Grill had takeout and other trash in it with a thick layer of pollen and other yard clippings
