Iâd like to leave a review for anyone who doesnât want to end up on the street at night looking for alternative accommodation. On the day I needed to extend my stay, I rang reception and asked to extend my booking; I was told to do this via Expedia, which I did, but my smart key wasnât extended. As I was leaving to run some errands, I called reception again to let them know, said Iâd be back late, and asked for confirmation of the extension. They confirmed the extension and said I could extend the key upon my return. When I came back from the event at one in the morning, I found no one at reception, so no one was able to extend my key and I was left without accommodation for a day, having spent money on another hotel; The next day, when I went to reception, they refused to refund my money or extend my stay for another day, citing the fact that their reception is open until 8 pm, but this was not stated anywhere, not even over the phone when I called to confirm my booking and mentioned that I would be arriving late.
