Over priced and not what was advertised via web, Curtains in room had holes and cigarette burns, The bath was black and moulding, the tap for the bath was hanging off the wall, Broken and cracked toilet bowl and seat, hairs both head and pubic in the bed as if never been changed, the noise from other rooms was very loud, phone in room did not work so had to go down to reception at 2am to complain, On day of arrival the receptionist ( Janine ) was very rude and not very helpful to the situation of the room's we had booked. I had asked to speak to the manager 4 times during my stay and still waiting. To be charged £600 for 5 night's per room 503 & 507 we were expecting a bit more than we got. Also we had booked this to use the pool and spa area as we were down for a 5 day conference, only to be told it was only open 8am - 5pm which is no use to anyone on a business trip. I will be taking this up with Britannia hotel's and will never be booking again, I will be looking for a refund of the cost from this as no way was it worth what was paid or being treated as a valued customer.

Overal our 3night stay was very good ,the view from our hotel room was fantastic looking over the sea , we did not use the facilities at The Grand but they looked clean and elegant and me and my girlfriend had a lovely time so Thankyou ! We parked our car in the hotel car park and had no problems at all so it was safe ! On the downside sorry was that the hotel was quite a walk from the main area but the walk was really nice and the trams ran every 10 mins so Thats a big plus ! We are very pleased we stayed at The Grand Hotel Blackpool and will definitely come back ! Thank you . Gary + Tracey .

Severely understaffed through hotel, they had to close the residents bar early so the staff could go behind another bar at wedding function, they shouldn’t have booked in so many guests if not enough staff , poor show.

Curtains in the room didn’t fit the window. There was a farmers meeting on and the hotel was full of young people running through the corridors all night, kicking footballs around and screaming . The car park and entrance is full of litter.

Lovely family hotel!

Lovely hotel! Spacious rooms, big comfy beds, coffee and tea and wash facilities excellent! Fantastic pool extremely clean excellent breakfast! We needed milk at night for a child and they got us some from the kitchen brilliant service!

Absolutely terrible. So unclean and run down. The bath was so dirty it wanted putting in a skip. No bulbs in lights and the bedside lamps were rusty. Bar was shut at first and when it opened they gad no stock. Disgrace off a hotel.

We had a room with a disabled bathroom... very tired and the whole room flooded when in the shower so any items of clothing etc got very wet! The hotel reception looks nice but the rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The bed was comfy and clean so that was a bonus!
