In the Winter, turn on the gas fireplace and cozy into the large couch with your morning coffee and stare up at the towering trees through the expansive windows, or take a short walk to town and browse the quaint shops, stay-in with friends and play a board game or build a snow person in the large backyard. Head-out and enjoy the fresh mountain air and snow shoe or ride snowmobiles. Trails abound. In the Spring/Summer, walk to town, grab an ice cream, or walk down to Graeagle Meadows for a yummy breakfast and a round of golf. Better yet, find the hidden stream down the road, dip your toes in the cool water and go for a hike or mountain bike in the Lost Sierras! Bring your jet skis, kayaks or boat and enjoy water sports galore at Gold Lake. There is endless adventure for adults and kids alike. Once again used this VRBO for a family reunion with son & daughter and their families. It was a great stay. Easy check-in. New Traeger smoker/grill. Fabulous Stay in the Lost Sierra

This home is very well stocked for an adventure in the Lost Sierra! The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking in, all the rooms and beds were comfortable, and the backyard was great for hanging out. Graeagle is centrally located to access the Lakes Basin, Downieville, Portola, and even going down to Truckee is easy. We were primarily mountain biking and you can ride from the house to ride Mills Peak, and countless other rides are a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again!

Three generations together for a family wedding

We were in Graeagle for a family wedding and the cabin was great. It’s nicely decorated and very well equipped. The kitchen is well stocked including all the basics like salt, pepper and olive oil. We had my sister and her family over for dinner and the place easily accommodated the 8 of us. I highly recommend this great cabin.
