Almost Heaven is a traditional wooden house, restored by our family and brought to current comfort needs. It is located at an altitude of 800 m in Reţ village, Blajeni commune, a virgin area, unspoiled by the bustle of tourists. It is surrounded by pastures and orchards of fruit trees, old farms covered with straw and has spectacular views of the Vulcan and Strâmba mountains. Far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's a place where you can really find that peace you've been dreaming of for a long time, the only sounds being the lowing of the cows, the song of the birds at dawn or the rustling of the trees when the wind blows. Take a deep breath while you're sitting on the bench in front of the cottage, gaze at the spectacular mountain view! Feel energized and alive! You deserve it.

Inside
On the ground floor you will find a hall with an extendable sofa and a reading corner, a kitchen with: electric stove, refrigerator, filter coffee machine, microwave oven, crockery, cooking and grilling utensils, spices, tea, a table and chairs for 4 people, a sofa. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with a king-size bed and 2 bunk beds, a chest of drawers and a bedside table. The room It is ideal for families with 2 children. You will also find 1 bathroom with shower cabin and toilet, boiler for hot water.
It is situated on the first floor. It has a double bed, a bedside table and chest of drawers/table and wooden chairs. The two bedrooms have a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.
Outdoors
From the downstairs hall you go directly to a covered terrace where you will find a table with benches for 8 people. Next to the house there is a generous gazebo with wooden table and benches for 8-10 people and a barbecue. We also set up a place next to the cottage where you can sit with your friends and tell stories around the fire. Of course, we expect maximum responsibility from you regarding the fire and its supervision.
The cottage is an old traditional peasant house, which we renovated for ourselves, that's why we put a part of our soul into it. From the moment we visited this area, we were bewitched by the magic of this place where we felt that we were returning to times deeply dug in our soul. We wanted to share with other people the charm of these lands, so we will be happy to have you as a guest. We want the days spent here to be unforgettable for you and we ask you to take care of this unique place, so that other people can enjoy it.

*** Access to the cottage is via a picturesque paved road to the place where you can leave your car. From here you have to walk about 100 m on a path to the cottage.
***Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. Check-out is done until 11.00.
*** Smoking is prohibited in the interior spaces
*** Access is allowed with pets, for large dogs an additional cleaning fee may be charged!
*** The water at the cottage is drinkable, coming from a mountain spring.
