Maison de l’Artiste is a beautifully decorated family house with a heated swimming pool ideally situated in the heart of a village with shops, fresh food market on Tuesdays, a bar and bistro and less than 10 minutes from Uzes. Nestled alongside the imposing ruins of the former castle, a sheltered courtyard garden is the perfect spot for al fresco dining or a barbecue.

Featuring spacious and tasteful interiors, the property accommodates 8 guests in its 4 comfortable bedrooms. The décor is tasteful throughout and enhanced by a collection of art and mementos from the hosts' travels.

Wi-Fi, Sky and Netflix. Other amenities include free standing fans in all bedrooms, a Weber barbecue, washing machine, parasols and comfortable outdoor furniture. The swimming pool is 8.5m x 3.5m and heated to 28 degrees.

On the ground floor 2 living rooms, dining, kitchen, laundry and a shower room. Stairs lead to 3 bedrooms and a study on the first floor, all of which overlook the garden. On the second floor a large master suite.

Nestled on top of a hill, the village is surrounded by fields of vineyards and sunflowers and is a great location for exploring the roman sites of Nimes, Arles, Avignon and the famous Pont du Gard. Airports at Montpellier and Nimes offer daily flights from the UK and Belgium.

Canoeing, rock-climbing and swimming at Pont du Gard, as well as a nightly sound and light show during the summer months. Hiking in the Cévennes mountains. Night markets in July and August, cooking classes, wine and truffle tasting. The festival of dance and musical nights. Cycling, golf, grottos, an aquatic park and a visit to the Haribo museum with the children.
