Take a walk or cycle through the Weerribben-Wieden National Park, one of the largest freshwater marshes in Europe. Glide through romantic canals in a canoe and observe herons, otters and rare dragonflies in their natural habitat. Stroll through the alleyways of Blokzijl, admire the magnificent old merchants' houses and stop off at cosy cafés or restaurants with a view of the historic harbour.
