Escape to Second Run in picturesque Blowing Rock! With 3 separate indoor living areas, guests can choose where they want to decompress and enjoy the view. Our home also has 5 bedrooms including 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 2 twin beds offering plenty of space for guests to relax. There are also ample outdoor living options. Have a drink on our front porch and wait for theD deer that visit us at twilight. Have your morning coffee on one of our two private balconies attached to the top floor bedrooms. Hang out with your friends and family as you grill out on our large back deck. An extra bonus of staying at Second Run is its location. You can be in downtown Boone OR Blowing Rock in less than 10 minutes. If you are in town during ski season, we overlook App Ski Mountain, and you can be at their entrance in about 7 minutes. Our home is located in a small neighborhood off of Flat Top Road, which is typically well maintained by the city during Winter months. Additionally, our driveway is mostly flat with a very gentle decline at the bottom allowing for easier access. The place was extremely amazing! A great location and an amazing view. I wish they would have responded to us about the water issue we had. It happened late at night and we didn’t expect an answer. But we never heard from them about the issue. We let them know around 10am the water was back up and running (about 12 hours after the water stopped working) and still got no response even after that message. We understand there wasn’t much they could do but acknowledging our text would have been appreciated. That way we know they are tracking that we lost water for 12 hr.
