đ¶ââïž4-min walk to Lilly Pad Village and Stanley Rapids of the Taccoa River
đ„ Cozy, warm antique gas log
đEasy drive to the cabin. Drive to the cabin is paved all the way. No need for a 4x4 vehicle.
â€ïžGreat privacy. Relax and just enjoy nature without any neighbors near by.
đŠ Cabin is located right on the famous Aska Road, and is right across the very popular Taccoa River (can mean some traffic noise, especially with the door open)
The cabin was adorable! Very homey, and very clean- which is very important to me. Me and my husband enjoyed a quick get away, and would definitely stay here again!! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the river.
Great cabin. Centrally located to lots of hiking trails and falls! Close to downtown Blue ridge! Easy access with a paved driveway. The Host Timothy was very quick to respond to any questions. The kitchen was well equipped if you like to prepare your own meals. Overall a lovely place to stay for the price!
Everything about this cabin was great! It was perfect for a quick 3 night getaway with the wife. Communication was top notch and everything was as advertised. We would absolutely book this cabin again. Saved in my favorites!!!
Looking to just spend a little time in the mountains with quick access to a quaint downtown? Then this is your place. The host is most gracious and the space has amenities as listed.
This was a wonderful place for my spouse and I to run away to for a few days. The cabin itself was charming. The location was great as it is only 10-15 minutes at the most from downtown Blue Ridge. This is a place that I plan on keeping as my go-to place in Blue Ridge.
We came to see the leaves and loved shopping in Blue Ridge, eating at Trailer Drive In, the Expedition! Big Foot museum, and campfires in the evening. Timothy was quick to respond with questions and recommendations for the area. The house was comfortable, and we slept in every day!! Thank you Timothy for your hospitality.
Just retired and wanted to get away for short time. Looked around and found Blue Ridge. The cabin was nice and area really beautiful. We enjoyed shopping downtown and ate at several restaurants. Enjoyed the self guided driving tour around the area. Enjoyed Mercier Orchard and Market and Bakery, sampled some baked goods. The apple cider donuts, was so good. Had dinner at The Toosa Riverside Restaurant also. The trout was really special. The cabin was convenient to all those things. Easy to get around the area. Watched the tubing down the river across from the cabin one day. We did not hike but looked like there some good trails close by.
Everything about this cabin is a catalyst for relaxing, from the drive along the river to the on demand fireplace (I want one of these now) setting the tone for a quiet place to relax and reconnect with loved ones.
Our first day we spent going to the Serenity in the mountains Spa and if I have any recommendations it's always always book a spa service for your first day of vacation. It was a quick 15 minutes from the cabin and then just another 7 minutes into downtown Blue Ridge for a day of shopping and enjoying the local eateries. You're going to think you've stepped into a Hallmark movie when you tour the main Street shops, each owner a wealth of knowledge and happy to educate and share their wisdom and hospitality. Truly one of the best experiences we've had in Georgia. The second day it was very cold and very rainy and we went for a walk and then bundled up and ready by the fire for the day and it was pure heaven. The amenities at the cabin are exceptionally well thought out, from the pro cookware and mattress from the gods (you are going to sleep like a baby) to the fire pit and the perfect patio it has so many homey little spots to create memories. We would count ourselves very lucky if we were to stay in this cozy little oasis again. Many many thanks to the owners for sharing this gem with the rest of us.
We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin right across from the beautiful river. Itâs convenient to the orchard, grocery store, and restaurants and shops in the area.
Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay.
The cabin is easily accessible and well equipped. Very cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed a birthday retreat here! Even with the very cold conditions outside, it was so nice.
We enjoyed the Aska River Cabin very much. It was very clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything. The gas stove in the LR was used alot due to the Arctic cold front that came in with 20 degree temps during our visit. The cabin is right on Aska Rd so visitors should be aware there is a lot of street noise from traffic going by. We visited downtown Blue Ridge for shopping and had lunch at Southern Charm restaurant and had dessert at the Food Networkâs DIY award winning Sweet Shop. The best pumpkin cupcakes in the world. Toccoa Riverside Restaurant was fabulous for lunch the next day. Their fish dip and crab cakes were 5star. A Beautiful setting right on the Toccoa River. Visited the Mercier Apple orchards for shopping and apple tasting. We went to Bear Claw Winery. Beautiful property and wonderful wine. So peaceful strolling the property and enjoying the scenery and live music. The Fall color was beautiful too during our drives. We will definitely return to the Blue Ridge area. A truly beautiful place.
The cabin was immaculate and had everything I needed. Tim answered all messages promptly and without fail.
The only negative part of the whole experience is the mattress on the large bed. Itâs hard as a rock
I highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area
We, myself and great niece, had a great trip, the cabin was just as described and very convenient to everything.
Hiking, shopping, train excursion and horseback riding!! All surpurb.
We could have stayed many days and would have had plenty to do.
People of all ages will enjoy this area.
Tim, our host, was in contact to meet any concerns we had and to advise us of any unforseen events, like a short power outage.
Which we weren't there when it was out!
Again, great trip.
