The gentle murmur of the Toccoa River from the covered decks will transport you to another place. Every room has a panoramic view of the Toccoa River and the Chattahoochee National Forrest. Wood floors and open windows add character to the main floor that has been completely renovated, and each design detail creates a clean, inviting modern mountain feel. Not to mention, the new outdoor deck boasts a fireplace, new outdoor furnishings, and a twin daybed swing. ‘Aska Base Camp’ is the perfect location to gather for your Blue Ridge adventures.

The Aska adventure area offers miles of hiking, mountain biking, tubing, and kayaking. The beautiful water and scenery of Lake Blue Ridge and the marina are only a few miles away. The charming downtown Blue Ridge restaurants and shops (as well as several grocery store options) are an easy drive through beautiful mountain views on paved Aska Rd.

This house was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed our time in Blue Ridge and the surrounding area.Honestly, the house was in a perfect location and the layout was perfect for I family. I really didn’t want to come home.Looking forward to our next stay.

Our New Base Camp

Even before we were halfway through our stay we were talking about the next time. The house is very well maintained and up to date. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen with nice dishes, flatware and lots of cooking utensils. The view of the Toccoa River was amazing and we even managed to catch a few rainbow trout and one small bass. We took advantage of both the outdoor fireplace and the firepit. This was a very relaxing and comfortable stay. We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic Mother Daughter weekend

Our stay was beyond fabulous!! My best friend and I brought our mothers for a long Mother Daughter weekend in the mountains. This house was amazing! We enjoyed fires in the outdoor fireplace each night and spent many hours on the deck listening to and watching the river! We are already looking to book here for another trip!

A stunning vacation

This cabin was purely amazing! We had so many places to sight see but I think if I were to do it over again I would spend ours on the deck reading! It was just so tranquil. The house was clean a beautifully decorated. Would love to come back in the Fall next time around and see all the gorgeous colors.

Stayed to participate in Cruel Jewel. Perfect cabin right on the water. Relaxing views sitting outside on either of the two decks. Only regret is that we didn’t book it to stay longer.

Wonderful back deck on the Tocca River

Very Nice. The Vacasa regerstrarion was difficult. Could not understand their language. Finely got Tony online and he helped. Enjoyable stay. It is licated right at the busy road so car traffic is noticable. Cabin was wonderful.

Amazing property with relaxing river noise.

Loved everything about the property. We didn't get to go on some trails because we planned to do that on Christmas Day and it happened to rain all day. Would love to come back and hit some trails or try tubing on the river.

Perfect Autumn Experience

We spent the week in a beautiful cabin located on the Toccoa River. The rushing water and gloriously colored foliage reminded us of the days when we lived in New England. We enjoyed a cold snap while taking in the many activities available in Blue Ridge.

Great location right on river

Overall impression is great. Right on river and cabin is comfortable. River water was very refreshing and clean just make sure grab some water shoes if planning to swim, huge rocks under water, very difficult to get in.

Relaxing

Comfortable arrangement for 4 adults and one teenager. Loved being on the river, but we were not able to get our fishing kayaks down to the river (too hard to get them back up). The decks were great to sit on and view the river. The negative is parking, skinny steep driveway with no pull through. You have to back up the driveway and right now the pull out area has a wash out issue (large hole). Even with that, I would stay again.

Great Location

Overall very nice place. Great location right on the river. Upstairs is very nice and newly remodeled. Downstairs was nice, but hasnt yet had a complete remodel. House was clean enough, could have used a deep cleaning. It was Spring and pollen was on rails and furniture on the porch. Overall we liked the place, would stay there again, and loved the location right on the river.

Wonderful cabin

We enjoyed our stay very much. My only caution would be that it is a very steep climb down to the cabin itself. If you have trouble navigating stairs, especially carrying luggage, it may prove difficult for you. But once you get there, it’s well worth the climb.

Perfect. Motorcycle friendly. All paved roads.

The cabin was comfortable and clean. Location was beautiful. All the roads to the cabin are paved and the place was easy to find. No complaints. This was an ideal stay. For anyone on motorcycles, the driveway is a little bit steep, but there is room at the beginning of the driveway to turn your bike around and back down.

A nice escape

An easy house to enjoy. We loved the outdoor fireplace. Close to Blue Ridge downtown. Close to Aska trails. The sound of the river flowing by the bedroom window. The next door neighbors unfortunately have racist statues and a confederate flag in the yard.
