The Space:

Welcome to Wood Nest Retreat, a charming dog-friendly cabin tucked among the trees in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Peaceful and private yet conveniently located near the best of Blue Ridge, this cozy 2-bedroom retreat accommodates up to 4 guests and is perfect for couples, small families, girls’ trips, or a getaway with friends.



Surrounded by forest, Wood Nest Retreat was made for slowing down. Spend mornings sipping coffee on the covered porch, afternoons exploring the mountains, and evenings soaking in the hot tub, playing ping pong, gathering around the fire pit, or cozying up beside one of the cabin’s indoor or outdoor fireplaces.



MAIN LIVING AREA



The main level features a warm, open living space with large glass doors showcasing the surrounding forest. Settle into the comfortable seating beside the stone gas fireplace, stream your favorite movie on the TV, or break out Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue, or cards for a cozy game night.



A washer and dryer are also available for guest use during your stay.



KITCHEN & DINING



The fully equipped kitchen is one of the features guests consistently appreciate and is stocked with everything you need to enjoy meals at the cabin. You'll find stainless steel appliances, an ice maker, Keurig, electric kettle, blender, toaster, Instant Pot, cookware, baking pans, serving pieces, wine glasses, utensils, and plenty of kitchen essentials.



The kitchen bar seats 4, with additional dining available outdoors. A combination CharGriller gas and charcoal grill is located on the deck, with the gas side conveniently connected to the cabin’s main gas line. Charcoal is not provided.



COVERED PORCH



One of the most inviting spaces at Wood Nest Retreat is the covered back porch. Surrounded by trees, this peaceful outdoor living area features a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace, streaming TV, dining table, and grill.



Curl up by the fire, enjoy dinner outside, or simply relax and listen to the sounds of the forest.



Please note that firewood is not provided but may be purchased through our management team for delivery.



BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS



Wood Nest Retreat features two private bedrooms, each with its own TV and porch access.



The primary suite offers a comfortable KING bed, direct access to the porch, and a private ensuite bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower.



The second bedroom features a QUEEN bed, porch access, and a TV, with a second full bathroom featuring another tiled walk-in shower nearby.



HOT TUB, GAMES & OUTDOOR LIVING



Head downstairs for a little friendly competition at the ping pong and game tables before stepping outside to the lower patio.



The private 4-person hot tub is tucked beneath the trees and makes the perfect place to unwind after hiking, shopping, or exploring Blue Ridge. Hammocks and outdoor seating offer even more places to relax and enjoy the peaceful wooded surroundings.



Near the driveway, you'll find a fire pit that's perfect for s’mores, fireside conversations, and stargazing.



BRING YOUR PUPS



Wood Nest Retreat welcomes up to 2 dogs, so your four-legged family members can join you for the mountain adventure.



A $75 pet fee applies per dog. Dogs must be house-trained, kept off the furniture, cleaned up after outside, and may not be left unattended at the cabin.



LOCATION



The cabin offers the peaceful feeling of a mountain escape while keeping you within approximately 10–15 minutes of many Blue Ridge favorites, including Downtown Blue Ridge, Mercier Orchards, Bear Claw Vineyards, Lake Blue Ridge & Marina, the Toccoa River, Aska Adventure Area hiking trails, restaurants, shopping, and more.



Wood Nest Retreat combines the cozy cabin experience guests come to the mountains for with thoughtful amenities, inviting outdoor living, and a convenient location—making it a wonderful place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of North Georgia.



Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire cabin and its outdoor spaces during their stay, including the hot tub, covered porch, fire pit, game area, and outdoor living spaces.



Any locked owner’s closets or storage areas are reserved for owner use and are not accessible to guests.



Parking is available on-site for registered guests.



The Neighborhood:

Wood Nest Retreat is tucked among the trees in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, offering a peaceful wooded setting while still keeping you close to many of Blue Ridge’s most popular attractions.



The cabin is conveniently located approximately 10–15 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge, where you can explore locally owned restaurants, boutiques, breweries, galleries, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.



You’ll also be within easy driving distance of Mercier Orchards, Bear Claw Vineyards, Lake Blue Ridge & Marina, the Toccoa River, the Aska Adventure Area, hiking trails, waterfalls, grocery stores, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure.



Enjoy the quiet and privacy of your mountain retreat, then head into town whenever you’re ready to explore everything Blue Ridge has to offer.



Getting Around:

Guests should plan to have their own vehicle during their stay. Uber, Lyft, and other rideshare services are very limited in the North Georgia mountains and should not be relied upon for transportation.



Wood Nest Retreat is easily accessible by standard 2WD vehicles under normal conditions. The driveway accommodates approximately 2–3 vehicles.



As with all mountain travel, please use extra caution when driving after dark or during inclement weather. During winter weather, snow and ice can make mountain roads more difficult to navigate, and AWD or 4WD may be recommended.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION:



• The primary renter must be at least 25 years old and must be present for the duration of the reservation.



• A signed rental agreement and proof of ID are required after booking.



• Wood Nest Retreat welcomes up to 2 dogs. A $75 pet fee applies per dog. Dogs must be house-trained, kept off furniture, cleaned up after outside, and may not be left unattended at the cabin.



• Cell service can be limited due to the cabin’s mountain location. Wi-Fi is available with approximately 100 Mbps download speeds.



• Firewood is not provided but may be purchased through our management team for delivery.



• No smoking, vaping, parties, or events are permitted.



• Only registered guests are permitted at the property unless prior approval has been received.
