COZY—Dog-Friendly—Perfect for Couples!!! FREE 3rd night!

BAYSIDE BUNGALOW is the perfect place for active singles, young or retired couples, or a small family who wants to be conveniently located near the WATER in Sonoma County's WINE Country . ESPECIALLY great for those who love SEAFOOD, wine-tasting and watersports: SURFING, BOATING, FISHING, KAYAKING, WIND-SURFING, PADDLE-BOARDING, KITE-FLYING, CLAM-DIGGING, HORSEBACK RIDING....AND, other activities! Or...just relax with a glass of Sonoma County WINE while you listen to the sound of the fog horn and waves breaking at Doran Park.

ACTIVITIES GALORE: Great (dog-friendly) restaurants and wine-tasting with outside seating, and shops within walking distance (go crabbing/fishing on a charter or rent a kayak). Just walk out the front door of the Bungalow and in two minutes--reach the bay where you can get into your kayak and paddle around the bay to watch the sea lions, otters and many, many, many bird species. Or, rent a horse and go on a trail ride through the cypress trees and sand dunes and gallop on the beach. Or, go to the town of Bodega and see the "schoolhouse" and church where Alfred Hitchcock filmed scenes shown in "The Birds" movie.

Doggie owners can romp at the newly created, off-leash dog-park beach at Doran Park, or head up to Goat Rock and Blind beach (off-leash) for a long walk, followed by a picnic with a bottle of great wine and crab sandwiches.

Bayside Bungalow is a cozy 1 bedroom duplex perfect for a single, couple or parents with small children. The bedroom has a queen-sized memory-foam and there are folding sleeping mats for the children. There's a combined living room/kitchen fully equipped with DIRECTV in the front room and bedroom. Oh, and you'll notice lots of original oil and watercolor paintings on the walls done by the owner and friends (they're for sale...).

Since COVID-19 began impacting all of us, we have taken precautions, so please be assured that the Bungalow is thoroughly cleaned, with all bedding, linens and surfaces disinfected between guests.

Comfortable and spacious bungalow in convenient location to explore Bodega Bay and surrounding areas. Pamela was a great host and had great suggestions about hiking trails in area. We especially enjoyed walking from the house to Bodega Dunes beach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bodega Bay!

This is my second time staying here. It is a great location. Close to the ocean and many restaurants. I brought my dogs and Pam, the owner, shared some good trails for walking the dogs. I like that the house has a fenced in yard for the dogs. The bungalow is perfect for a couple or single person. It has a comfortable bed, very clean, a small kitchen but has everything you need. I will be coming back again. Thanks for the relaxing stay!

It is a perfect place for someone or a couple especially if you’re traveling with pets! I was with my dog & it has a private fenced yard so my dog could go outside and enjoy! The kitchen is very nice for small space and the owner and her dog are the best! Would stay again and again!

Bodega Bay get away

Our experience with Pamela and her cozy cottage was exceptional from start to finish. She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the cottage and all the little hints to make our stay easy. She had a doggy food area and treats for our dog! She responded to questions quickly, but gave us our own space without intruding. She was a fantastic hostess!

Comfortable place to stay

Pamela is a wonderful host! She is very responsive, helpful, and available to answer any questions. It's clear that she really wants her guests to have a great time.The bungalow is small but comfortable and has everything guests might need. Although there are stores and eateries in walking distance, the roads are not pedestrian-friendly, so a car is necessary for Bodega Bay area.

A wonderful, dog-friendly place with central location!

We had such a wonderful stay! Pamela is an excellent host and her property is a super convenient location. Since there’s so much to drive to in or around Bodega Bay, we wanted a place with easy parking and a laid-back neighborhood free of traffic with a central location
 and this place was it! Pamela was there to greet us when we arrived, and she gave us a tour of the property as well as some great recommendations. She was so communicative from start to finish and I felt very comfortable talking to her over text and in person. Since we brought our dog, we referenced her map of off-leash, on-leash and not dog friendly beaches quite a bit and Rosie loved the complimentary dog treatos. My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed the complimentary salt water taffy treatos for humans, too :) We spent our mornings and afternoons out exploring, evenings in, and cooked breakfast “at home.” This property was accommodating for all of it! The kitchen was the perfect size and having a stove was great. The dishwasher looked brand new but we chose to hand wash our few dishes. My piece of advice is if you’re planning on staying here (you should!!), bring slippers or socks for the morning because the tile gets cold. My boyfriend’s piece of advice is bring a FireStick or Roku or something if you’re like him and don’t like to watch “real” TV, only TV from smart apps. Lol. Thank you Pamela and Stella for a great birthday vacation!! We can’t wait to come back.
