Welcome to our beach house for the 'Ultimate Pacific Coast Surf Experience'. Perched atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific approximately 4 miles north of Bodega Bay. The photo's will depict views from the actual property and the beautiful coastal inspired interior. You will have stairs down to a sheltered, secluded beach.

Our guests health is at the centre of our focus, we have professional cleaners to sanitize the complete house before and after every guest. We follow the Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection Recommendation with additional precaution. We have contactless hosting service whereby you will be provided with a code to enter the house and can call us on the in-house phone anytime you need any additional assistance.

The beach house is built on the bluff over looking a spectacular show of nature at her best. You will have stairs down to a sheltered, secluded beach. You can have beach fun and family time exploring tide pools or a romantic, quiet picnic.

Comforting neutrals, warm whites and current pops of fun color punctuate the decor. Driftwood effect ceramic floors, quartz counters and nautical theme accessories carry the beach house motif throughout.

Enjoy your own private hot tub overlooking the cliff with panoramic views of the ocean. Enjoying the sunset while enjoying spa like treatment and the complimentary Sonoma wine. After sunset stay warm outside with your private fire pit and blankets while roasting marshmallows.

Enjoy downstairs over looking the ocean reading a book on the chase lounge or hammock. Or role out a yoga mat on the deck enjoying tranquility and the beautiful Pacific sunrise or sunset.

There is plenty of opportunities to get active, we provide fishing gear for those whom want to catch their own fish in one of California's most recognized fishing hot spots right in front of you., you can BBQ the fish on both the wood fire pit or your private gas BBQ in front of the unit. You can harvest limited amount of mussels from the rocks and make your own mussel pot. Other activities include horseback riding, hiking, golf, surfing or wind surfing.

The Pacific, west facing beach house allows you to view the surf at all times and enjoy the most breath taking sunsets, crashing surf, sea mist and bold rugged rock formations.

The great room with it's 35 foot wide wall of pacific facing windows is comfortably furnished with a log-effect fireplace and a Smart flat screen TV. Internet.

Dining for four at the antique table with it's captain's chairs, or at the large quartz peninsula.

All electric kitchen appliances: fast glass top range, and small appliances. Generous quartz counter work space in neutral tones and plenty of cabinet space with ambiance lighting for enhanced cooking and entertaining experience. The kitchen is well appointed for enjoying home cooked faire. Why go out when you can have the best ocean view in town with the surf as your back ground music! Enjoy your cracked crab and chardonnay at sunset with your family or special other. Gas BBQ on porch.

Two king bedrooms and two bathrooms: the countryside facing room has views of peaceful bucolic rolling hills and a red farmhouse with it's barn. To add to your comfort we have installed a wall mounted fireplace to keep the chill off and a T.V.. It has a large en suite with a tub and shower combo. The second king has a Pacific Ocean and farm view, a wall mounted fireplace and T.V.. A quaint shower bathroom with a quartz vanity services this king room. Both bedrooms offer great privacy and are ideal for two couples.

If you need more room for extended family or friends we can offer the 'Little Sister Cottage' next door: Seamist Cottage. She is our cute & cozy one bedroom/bath with a sleeping loft/two twins(ideal for kids/teens) Seamist is a smaller version of Surfscape with all the great attention to detail and comfort.

We have designed and furnished the Surfscape Beach House to create a memorable and wonderful experience that will leave you rested, renewed and ready to return again and again!

4 guests maximum at all times. Our guests can enjoy a pet allergy free home!

Our second stay and not our last!

Magnificent! This was our second stay here, our first stay for our mini-moon last year. We loved it so much we came back to celebrate our 1st year anniversary and it did not disappoint!! First of all, the view is out of this world, at all times of the day and night. The ocean waves lull you to sleep at night. Everything was in great working order, kitchen was well stocked and equipped with all the essentials to enjoy a wonderful home cooked meal. The hot tub and fire pit over looking the ocean, come on. We felt so lucky and spoiled! A luxury home away from home. The host even left us a lovely bottle of rose prosecco to celebrate. Best sleep, best stay, best relaxing!! We will be back!!

There are very few rentals around this area as on top of the ocean as this one. There is a semi private beach and a small grassy landing with chairs near the sand too.

Beautiful home can’t beat the scenery

Beds were very comfortable everything you need in the house. A little hard to find the address. The ocean crashing on the rocks takes your breath away.

Exceptional Oceanview

The ocean view and secluded beach were phenomenal. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding, linens, and towels were nice and clean. The house was surface clean, but is in need of maintenance and deep cleaning. A window in the ocean view bedroom and one in the living room are broken and won’t open. The bug zapper in the kitchen was a little disconcerting each time it zapped a bug. The salty ocean air has taken its toll on the house including the chairs and gas fire pit at the house level. The lower level tiered deck has fake grass and the chair cushions need to be cleaned and we’re too wet to sit on due to the moist air. We still had a wonderful time but will probably stay elsewhere in the future unless there are improvements. I expected more for the price point, but again the ocean view didn’t disappoint.

Wonderful location and views. The parking is not so great if you have a low clearance car. If you have a low clearance car, you will scrape entering and leaving the driveway. Otherwise a great place to stay because we did not want to leave!

Lovely view

Can't beat the beautiful view from the living room, outdoor patio, and hot tub. The only niggle was that I hadn't heard from the management company two days prior to check-in despite asking for the information and had to send a panicked request to VRBO. But it worked out. Kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need, prosecco on the counter was a welcome surprise, as was the wine bar. Close to the lovely Kortum trail and lots of beaches and hidden coves. Getting in an out of the parking spaces a bit dicey with oncoming highway 1 traffic so be cautious! A great deal of construction across the highway as they're building a new route for highway one but it wasn't too obtrusive. Definitely a wonderful getaway.

Gone Downhill

We stayed last year at around the same time for my dad's birthday. From that stay, the property has been abused. Damaged bad door frame from water intrusion at the second bedroom. Windows mostly have broken seals obstructing the beautiful views. Damaged flooring and drywall. The exterior furniture at the firepit has holes. The TV in the master did not work, we think a battery issue, but we did not pack batteries. The remote in the living room you had to stand next to the TV to work also a battery issue. The faucet at the kitchen sink was wobbly, and water pressure was an issue. Only had a few forks so I had to hand wash continually from meal to meal. The bedspreads had spots and were worn. A towel rack broke in the master bath, and the drywall was poorly patched. The jacuzzi was full of sand upon our arrival and we were told by the housekeeper it would be cleaned the next day. It wasn't. Just not what we expected after our last stay and for the cost.

Surfscape

Surfscape has the most breathtaking oceanfront views. I spent the mornings in the hot tub it was incredibly peaceful and private. The wine dispenser was a nice luxury that was a fun conversation piece. The house is beautiful and tastfully decorated with a Coastal theme. We will definitely be back it's my new favorite place to stay in Bodega Bay. I'm hoping on our next trip that both homes are available Surfscape & Seamist. Such a beautiful place.

Edge of the World

I don't know anyone whose jaw would not be on the floor when they walked in the door at sunset! We found everything we needed and it was easy to get things heated up and comfy. Champagne waiting in an ice bucket? WOW! The terraces, the lower surfside cabana, the outdoor fire pit. Perhaps one two wine glasses. This place is so special we're torn about whether or not to share it with anyone. Our famly is demanding to know where it is. What a find!!!!

Lovely stay on Sonoma coastline

This VRBO stay was way beyond my expectations! I had arranged to stay a year ago and the fires occurred in Sonoma County just two days before our fully planned vacation, forcing us to cancel. The host was gracious enough to accommodate a new reservation for an entire year later! So precious! To sum things up in a lovely nutshell, this was an experience my friend and I will never forget. We even saw a whale out in the ocean breaching from our perfectly clean hot tub above the sea which was the ultimate highlight of our trip! How beautiful. Everything from the cleanliness of the small home, to the wonderful champagne left for us among other snacks was absolutely perfect! The rooms were beautiful, each one, and a nice bathtub in the master. The views were spectacular, bay windows complete! There were notes explaining every single thing if folks had any questions which were also extremely useful, showing that the space is dearly tended to and hosts care for what clientele need on their vacations: rest and comfort. After a day of winetasting in Sonoma County, it was absolutely priceless to come home to this little cottage over the sea. Perfect in every way and I recommend to anyone who needs an oceanic respite. Piece of paradise!

We had an amazing relaxing time at the surfscape! It was beautiful and clean and everything you need if you are looking for a getaway. We definitely plan on booking again when time allows. It is honestly like a piece of paradise.
