Indoor heated swimming pool (shared with other property, 24ft x 12ft, depth 3ft 9in), open all year and sauna (at cost). 15-acre terraced and wooded grounds (shared). Bike store (shared). Electric car charging point (£50 PW, £25 SB, payable to owner). Parking, designated on site. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply.. Set within 15 acres of terraced woodland high in the Camel Valley, this holiday cottage has been furnished and fitted to a high standard with style and is the ideal romantic retreat. With views from the bed through the triangular windows across the valley and the cosy well co-ordinated living room with its wood-burning stove, this cottage has been thoughtfully designed. The landscaped garden has two patio areas with lovely country views; a short path leads to the shared indoor heated swimming pool. Well placed to visit Padstow with Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant, Port Isaac and Tintagel. Close to Bodmin Moor - unspoilt moorland with abundant wildlife. The Camel Trail is just 200 yards away, and guests have use of a bike store also a few yards away. Shops 4 miles, pub 2 miles.

We had a really lovely stay at the Woodland Retreat! The cottage has been really thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything you need for your stay. We loved the secluded and quiet location, the cottage has beautiful views out on the valley and is close enough to the local towns. Both the North and South coast are easily accessable from the cottage and Jez and Sara have put together a whole host of recommendations for the local area. If you want to get away from it all and still be on holiday in Cornwall, then this beautiful cottage set in native woodland with apple orchard to boot, feels like a million miles from anywhere. It's only a couple of miles from Wadebridge and mere yards from the Camel Trail, with an indoor heated pool and birdsong all day long. Only slight disappointment if I’m being picky was that the EV charging point hasn’t yet been installed outside so had to use one at a neighbouring property which was ok. Would definitely recommend.
