Room selected was not available at the check in. Downgrade room was offered. Lobby bar and drinks was poor. Location and cleanliness was good.

Hotel was very good.
The most dangerous problem is the beggars. They WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE. They are so persistent that you have to worry about an attack. I had to scream at one group and they laugjed.i was very concerened about turning my back to them. My girlfriend was very afraid. One shoe shine guy sprayed stuff on my shoe and wanted money to clean the other shoe. My friend was tired of the beggars and flew home early. They have got to do something. I don't know if i will go back.

Great Location!
Pros:Location, service, room.
Cons:housekeeping attention to detail, and fixing the front window roman shade so it may be lifted.
Location:Located in the "ritzy' section of Bogota, with many high-end stores around and a great mall across the street, along with the Bogota Beer Company.
I did not have housekeeping tidy my room during my stay, but it was evident that he/she cut corners before I arrived. I checked in at 11:30pm (plenty of time for housekeeping) and although the room and bed sheets were clean, it was obvious that the housekeeper rushed through, as the floor looked like it needed a sweep, and the shower cap box in the complimentary toiletry set was empty. That aside, the concierge and other staff were enormously nice and helpful, and the location could not be any better. I didn't eat here, so I can't advise on the food, but Andes DC is right next door, which I highly recommend. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Although I loved the location, I should note that it was a bit of a distance from both the airport and the La Candelaria district, but Uber wasn't much. (Make sure you get into the FRONT seat!).
