App State Visit

I have stayed here a few times over the years my daughter has been attending App State, it is a very convenient location to explore King street restaurants and shops and to visit App state, I highly recommend staying here or the 2 bdrm next to it

Awesome place and location

Can't complain. It has the basic amenties but, parking 'is tight', so they have an extra space next door. If you have a larger truck or suv, then next door might be better if others are parking. Also, i stayed here secetal weeks

Perfect place and location

You cant ask for a better location. Easy walking distance to everything downtown. Exceptionally clean. Parking is a bit tight unless you have a smaller car. I parked next door at a reserved spot for the property.

Perfect Location!

This was the perfect spot for move in at App State. We walked everywhere and never had to worry about parking. The house had everything we needed! Would stay here again!

Great location!

What a great place to stay! I would give it 5 Stars but there was one thing that really made it tough to give 5 stars. First the great stuff: Location is hard to beat! Walking distance to EVERYTHING downtown. Love it! The place was SUPER clean. The renters were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Now the only issue we really had: We had 3 adults sleeping and I stayed on the pullout couch and let me tell you, don’t sleep on unless you have to. It was the most uncomfortable and loudest mattress (I think it’s just a mattress topper?) ever. Not good. Although not a deal breaker for me but for anyone who has ANY BACK ISSUES, absolutely do not attempt to sleep on it. I will say the king bed was super comfortable though! The only minor complaint after that is the place is very damp, a dehumidifier would be very helpful but other than that it really was wonderful. My daughter goes to App State and it was absolutely perfect for move in day and I would stay again if it’s just 2 adults next time. So even though I have 2 complaints please don’t let that keep you away unless you need a pullout mattress for sleeping!

Really a 4.9 not a 4

The location was perfect! We could walk to everything we needed and wanted to do. Denise was amazing to work with! She was prompt with replies and provided great information. Parking was tight, but very manageable and there is another parking spot very close by if needed. We will happily stay here again, but we will bring a fan for the bedroom. I wish I could give 4.9 stars because the only issue I had was personal preference of airflow in the bedroom. Truly a neat spot!

Being able to travel with our Frenchie and have such amazing accommodations is much appreciated thank you for sharing your home with us. We rent VRBO often and we must say your bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. This home is super cute, cozy & perfect for a couple in a great location. We will be back. Thanks again.

Boone Getaway

Quaint, homey, stand-alone house with fully equipped kitchen. Literally 10-minute walk to the center of downtown. Less than a block to Earth Fare supermarket. While the house is located on the main street, it is set back enough that there was no noise from auto or foot traffic. Very comfortable furnishings and speedy WIFI. Nice to have separate off street parking space. Looking forward to future stays.
