The room was clean but much smaller and older than expected based on the pictures online. The front desk person was very courteous. The great room beyond the front desk was very nice, but doesn't seem necessary if no food or drinks are available there. Also, on a cold Saturday evening, I would've expected a fire going. Otherwise, the place was nice and served its purpose.

Clean and comfortable room. Strong WiFi signal. Very comfortable bed. Conveniently located to downtown - walking distance. It is "rustic." Perhaps dated. No amenities like breakfast. Room had coffee maker, microwave. Basic accommodations.

Although the property is right on Hwy 321, the room was quiet, and the property on a small pond with chairs and tables was quite charming. The easy walk to downtown Blowing Rock was great. The room had coffee and tea, a minifridge, and microwave as well as toiletries. The only downside was the bed---it dipped in the middle, making a sort of "C" shape, and our feet felt oddly higher than our heads. We'd request a different room in the future, but other than the mattress, the inn was perfect for a fall getaway.

The Two young men that waited on us were Great! We were not happy with the air conditioning blowing on us all night. We moved the blade but still was hitting us. Also, no one was at the property in the evening or all night or in the morning.

This property was a big disappointment. It is very run-down and mostly deserted. While we cannot say it was dirty, we did not receive clean towels or maid service on the second day. The bathroom is very tiny and has no countertop space for applying makeup. There is no full-length mirror. The room has a very musty smell as well. We would not ever stay here again.
