The location is unbelievable, purchased on a hill overlooking Boothbay Harbor. The Inn itself is beautifully designed, elegant yet relaxed with an effortless coastal charm. What made our stay truly exceptional was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond at every turn. They were welcoming and attentive. And the little touches made all the difference. "We had a wonderful stay at the Boothbay Harbor Inn. We booked a corner room, and the view was magnificent! We had a lovely balcony to watch the entire harbor area. Lynn and Stephanie at the front desk were incredibly helpful-their customer service was truly outstanding. We can’t wait to return to this lovely hotel in Boothbay ! "Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful! The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby. A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros and posette - incredible! ...The kitchen is down the hall from the rooms so if you wish there are opportunities for social time. The only thing that I'd recommend as a future update - as with many stately old New England homes, the bathroom could use a refresh - including some new caulking."
