Welcome to Your Vintage DeAnza Country Club Desert Oasis in Borrego Springs!

Step back in time with this spacious three-bedroom home - the perfect blend of nostalgia and relaxation. This comfortable retro retreat is located on beautiful De Anza Country Club, with great golf course and mountain views. Close proximity to town, golf, tennis, mountains, hiking, bike riding, wildlife viewing, stargazing, and more. You may even be treated with a visit from the local mountain sheep grazing on the golf course. This custom estate is filled with character and offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Originally built as a custom golf course estate, this spacious home boasts over 3,000 sq foot of living space on an acre lot with a gorgeous backyard pool with waterfall, spacious en-suite Master Bedroom 1 with a king sized bed, 2nd Master Bedroom with two queen sized beds and en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a third bedroom/den with a king sized bed, sofabed, and office space. An additional powder room in the main hallway adds convenience for guests staying in the den. Original retro kitchen boasts an eat-in area, wood block island, original built-in Sub Zero refrigerator with ice maker, Thermador stovetop, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, and complimentary coffee station. Backyard oasis features a private pool and several patios to enjoy outdoor dining and lounging. Fully furnished home captures original vintage-era flair with a sunken living room, tray ceilings, retro wet bar, formal dining room, vintage high-end appliances, and beautiful private portico entrance. We welcome long-term guests! Please contact host directly to negotiate your long-term stay discount. Disclosures: For young families, pool does not have its own fence perimeter, but pool is located inside a fully fenced back yard. Beautiful property in a great location, with a host who was incredibly communicative and accommodating throughout our stay. If you enjoy hiking, this is the perfect spot—there are so many great trails nearby. The pool was an added bonus and made the stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience.

The Borrego house is very large and spacious. The home was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Our host Rachel was very helpful and courteous. The location on the golf course was beautiful and close to town. Would definitely return to this home.

Contact with host was immediate and very helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet and outdoor space and seating is plentiful both shaded and sunny. The house is definitely "mid century modern" and definitely could use some updates. 4 stars given not 5 because the carpeting is also from mid last century. Carpet includes master bathroom. Although everything was cleaned well, you can't really clean such old worn carpeting. I won't come back until we get new carpeting. It really detracts from an otherwise 5 star place.

Loved this beautiful home. It was clean, peaceful and had plenty of space for our vacation. Gorgeous property with full kitchen, living room and dining room. We cooked most nights. Backyard and pool were so relaxing with a majestic view of the mountains. Located on golf course property, it was very serene. Rachael was so gracious, kind and friendly whenever we needed anything. Another great stay

We came last summer and loved it, and returned this year and loved it even more. Though the temp was triple digits outside we were very comfortable with the pool and AC indoors. This year they added parasols which were great during the sunniest part of the day. Looking forward to coming back.

A nice, spacious and comfortable home.

We have stayed in six different properties in Borrego Springs over the last 15 years with mixed experiences. I would recommend this property for adults and families with older kids who are clean and well behaved as the carpeting is white and could be easily stained. This property is conveniently located and has ample parking. There are plenty of beds and the layout is nice and worked well for our group of six. The neighborhood and house are both very quiet and peaceful. The owner/ manager is very nice, responsive and flexible. Check in is easy and since the house was ready early, she let us check in early. All of the appliances and systems worked well and there were no problems. Recommended

We had an amazing stay! This vacation rental was perfect for girls' weekend/family get-together. The host was great, and the house was spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home. Borrego is one of our favorite spots and the home location was ideal. We can’t wait to come back!"

Worst rental ever

Our stay was awful , pictures on ad was not what we experienced, we were unable to use pool since it was so dirty , and water Fountain we were told not to used since it had not been clean in months , pool was full of roaches and bugs , patio furniture old and dirty with no futons to sit on it , photos on Vrbo are too old , house does not look the same no sutible accommodations , it felt like we had rented an old hotel , even though host responded and tried to accommodate us better nothing worked for us , at first she made me feel like I was lying since I was questioned when I text her regarding dirty pool and requested pictures , however I felt like she thought I was lying , since her response was , she never had prior complains till now , like I’m a troubled maker , I rented houses from the past 4 years different house never had such a bad experience , we actually left did not stay the 2nd night as we didn’t want to be there any longer ,there was a mouse under refrigerator so we got really disgusted and scare , I hate mice , overall we were not happy from our first night stay but we tried to work with it , but it got so uncomfortable that after that we decided to leave since there were to many problems that did not make us feel good but disgusted and disappointed, I will never go back to this property , I do however thanks the host for trying to work with us but did not do enough to help us stay and be happy in our mini vacation

Fathers Day

My family of 10 have been going to Borrego Springs for 6 years and this will be our 2nd. stay in this wonderful home. It is large enough for all of us to have room to spread out but most of our time is spent at the pool and patio. Love the pool perfect depth for fun. Patio has a nice outdoor fan which we definitely used. Borrego Springs was VERY hot this weekend but the house was cool and a nice relief from the heat. Hopefully we are able to return next year for another fun filled Fathers Day.

Private relaxing location

The home is luxurious, well maintained and well supplied. Although you back to the golf course, it has a very private backyard with lovely pool. Relaxing strolls through a beautiful trees neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Very quiet location too. .
