The hotel was located in a beautiful area and was looked new. There was some sort of mishap with bookings and they offered our family a second room at no charge due to the error.
The room was very nice - well equipped and spacious. Housekeeping could have been better though. We were missing bedding for the pull out trundle bed, conditioner and body wash pumps were basically empty and my husband had to pull a huge wad of hair out of the shower drain to avoid flooding the whole bathroom. The sofa and trundle bed were both hard as a rock and uncomfortable even for young kids.
The breakfast offerings were good, but it seemed they only had one person working f it and she could not keep items filled fast enough.
Hotel is new. Staff very nice. Unfortunately we were in midst of secere weather and trash got blown all over the place. Poor front desk staff got ripped by "male karens" but honestly they could have went out and made an effort but its just not in this generations DNA to take any initiative.
Besides the screaming yelling kids from non disciplined parents the hotel itself was great. Breakfast was good coffee was hot bed was comfy and room was new.
The room was nice but not the cleanest. The hotel itself is nice but the description is a little misleading for the amenities. You could order food from the bar once it opened, but there was not an actual restaurant, and they only had 3 options which changed regularly according to our bartender. The bar was very small and in the main lobby, with very minimal options for drinks. The breakfast was also very minimal for what was offered. No options for people who would need to be Gluten-Free besides the scrambled eggs possibly.
The property was clean and safe but far from anywhere to get food. You will need a car to get to and from places. The hotel was new and clean and everyone was friendly and accommodating. My only complain is the limited amount of breakfast being served. If you come later time, there will be no bananas, eggs, muffins, oatmeal: literally the only choice you have is apples and yogurt. Waffle batter also low. I tried asking for some more stuff but kitchen staff said : sorry, that’s all we have.
I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for one major issue:
The biggest issue was having our door opened at 2:00 am (the safety latch was set so they did not succeed in entering the room). I called the front desk and found out it was the girl at the front desk that had checked a guest in, their key card didn’t work and instead of double checking that the guest had the correct room, she grabbed a master key and attempted entry! Not a great way to wake up in the middle of the night!

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We picked the hotel because the ratings for awesome and the hotel is pretty new (6 months). We drove for 7 hours, checked in and went to dinner. When we got back from dinner we unpacked and ready to go to bed. We found a beetle bug in the shower and the sink. I went down to the front desk and let them know. They said, “thanks for letting them know”. The next day I heard nothing so late on the afternoon I stopped by the front desk and asked if they got a message done the night shift about the bugs and they said they did not. The person at the front desk said they were sorry and gave me 1000 Bonvoy bonus points. We went to dinner again and once again found another bug on the night stand light. We did not report it.
I guess in a just surprised with the reaction of the hotel staff. Finding bugs in a room is not very clean facility and could hurt their reputation and reviews. My wife and I are not people that like to cause issues and leave negative reviews but when we bring some issues to the staff expecting some type actions to resolve the issue and nothing happens, it makes is very frustrated.
They could have moved us to another room or at least comp’d us for for 1 night and had someone come to the room and spray for bugs.
Marriott is a great company and I have stayed in many properties over the years when I traveled for my company. They have always been very proactive in making your stay the best.
