This lovely home is the perfect Southern Highlands home where you can reconnect, recharge and relax with friends or family away from the pressures of everyday life. Sitting on half an acre and the gardens are filled with flowering plants and beautiful trees, the deep front verandah is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Enjoy this home as a base for a country wedding weekend, discovering the magical Southern Highlands or enjoying the historic village of Berrima with great restaurants, fabulous coffee shops and shopping in locally owned, artisan stores.

Where will I be?
Somerset enjoys an outstanding position within the Berrima township. It is a short walk to the centre of the historic town. Berrima is a short drive from Bowral and many Southern Highlands wedding venues are a short drive away.

This beautiful home has been tastefully renovated and furnished and epitomises a Southern Highlands getaway! Sleeping 8 guests across 4 bedrooms it is a wonderful option for a group of friends or a couple of families to explore the Southern Highlands together.
How is the property laid out?
The heart of this house is formed by the combination of the dining area, kitchen, breakfast area and informal lounge so you can entertain, enjoy smart TV and prepare that special meal while still enjoying time with your friends and family. The well- equipped kitchen includes a stainless steel fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a coffee plunger. The formal lounge offers another space to relax in front of the fireplace.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite with a shower and a toilet. There are 3 more bedrooms, 1 with a king bed and 2 with a queen bed. They share the main bathroom which has a combined bath/shower and a separate powder room.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.
Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
The deep front verandah is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. The home sits on half an acre and the gardens are filled with flowering plants and beautiful trees. To the rear of the home is another verandah with seating and a patio with an outdoor dining area. There is a coal BBQ and a firepit (both of which cannot be used if there is a fire ban in place.)
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Somerset has ducted heating and a fireplace in the living area for warmth in the winter.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Somerset supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Somerset has open air parking for 3 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
