Fondly known as “That Pink House” – This cosy cottage is a comfortable home away from home experience in the Southern Highlands.

That Pink House is light and bright with a mix of blush and floral patterns that create an inviting ambience.

Enjoy dining alfresco whilst entertaining the whole group in the outdoor covered entertaining terrace. There is loads of fun to be had playing on the outdoor air hockey table. This property has a fenced dog run at the back of the yard and beautiful gardens to admire.

A family member died suddenly and family from South Australia needed accommodation. That Pink house suited their requirements perfectly and was close and handy. It was so good in every way.

Not a great location and unclean

This wasn't a great experience. We were looking forward to our stay but once we arrived we quickly realised the property was over priced, located in a down trodden part of Bowral and extremely dirty. The beds were very comfy with lovely clean linens the house itself was dirty, thick dust on the skirting boards and random "stuff" throughout the property that felt like someone lived there and had just left the day prior. We had asked for a trundle bed to be made up which wasnt and the check-in process was very regimented being sent a code 2mins prior to the arrival time suggesting a lack of faith in guests combined with security cameras on the driveway to monitor your comings and goings. We were grateful to be able to take our dog but the back garden had no fence down the side of the house to separate the rear and front garden/driveway and so we didnt feel comfortable leaving our dog running along the low front fence. Overall it wasn't the experience we thought we had paid for and signed up for. I expected more from Bowral so do yourself a favour and avoid the Holiday Property Specialists (who have a very stressful booking process) and this property.

Fantastic House and Suburb

My family and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the pink house in January 2021. The agent was very accommodating to give me the access code earlier as we reached a bit early. The house was very well equipped like dvds, games, books and a very nice sound system as well. It also has a Tesla recharge unit! The house is old style with the bathroom and toilet being separated. They are a bit small but there is another toilet in the laundry as well. The suburb is quiet and we discovered a walking path that takes you around a little lake past the botanical garden. The house is very close to the main town streets as well as many of the Bowral wine yards. Couple of minor points the air cons in the rooms do make a bit of noise and the grass needs to be mowed as it had grown a bit. I did have my dog who loved running in it but was concerned if there could be anything in the grass. It was all good and we had a great time.

We had a great stay at this property. It was very neat and tidy, linen and beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and the heating was fantastic which was appreciated as it was quite cold in Bowral during our stay. The house is a short drive to shops and in a nice area. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into make this a very welcoming (included a lovely gift for us on arrival!) and comfortable holiday rental property and I have no hesitation in highly recommending it during a visit to Bowral.

Nice comfortable stay in a clean property. Short drive to town. Very quiet location except for the neighbours dog which constantly barked.
