Anna Maria Sound sunset views from the screened lanai — this is what gives The Sunset Retreat its name and what guests describe first when they talk about the stay. The lanai has a patio table and chairs for outdoor dining and morning coffee with the water in front of you.

The condo sleeps seven across three bedrooms. The primary suite has a king bed. The second bedroom has a king bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The living room sleeper sofa handles the seventh guest. Three full bathrooms throughout. The open kitchen has a granite island and is fully equipped for a week of meals at home. The living and dining area is comfortable and well-configured for a group.

Anna Maria Island was named one of the Sunshine State's 10 Best Secret Beaches by USA Today and one of only four "Old, Classic Florida" destinations by the Wall Street Journal. This is the kind of destination that earns those credentials — and The Sunset Retreat puts you on the water's edge of it.

Two complimentary bikes are included with the unit for exploring the area. The resort amenities are consistent across One Particular Harbour: heated community pool and cabana, children's tot lot and splash zone, BBQ grilling area, deep water marina for sunset strolls, and Floridays restaurant on the property. The free island trolley stops nearby. Manatee Beach on the Gulf is a 2-minute drive over the bridge.

Guests staying 30 nights or longer have access to additional Harbour Isle amenities — the waterfront Beach Club, private pool, fitness center, sky bar, yoga lawn, and kayak launch.

This property does not allow pets or smoking.

The Sunset Retreat requires a one-week minimum stay with covered parking and elevator access included.

Everything we needed and more!

This property is exceptional—every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The linens are luxurious, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked. The furniture is stylish, and the entire place is impeccably clean. Beach towels and all the essentials for a beach day are provided. Plus, it’s just a quick 2-minute drive to the beach. The location is ideal with stunning sunset views. This place truly embodies a dream vacation spot and is a must-stay.

Amazing Vacation Rental

This property was perfect for me, my husband and our 3 teenage children. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with any kitchen item you could possibly need. The view of Anna Maria sound was incredible. Some evenings were spent out on the screened in porch, when there was a nice breeze. The resort itself was great, with a nice pool and splash pad area. The unit was also well equipped with lots of beach equipment like chairs, umbrellas etc. There were also 2 bikes that we enjoyed using. I would highly recommend this place!!

Beautiful Condo + Excellent Location

This property exceeded our expectations! We stayed here with four adults and two children (under 10 years of age). The condo and overall property was very clean. The layout was perfect for the six of us. Everything was very updated and modern. The pool area was fantastic with a nice sitting area and clean bathrooms. The location was amazing. Every morning we were able to watch dolphins feeding while we sat on the back patio. In the evenings we watched amazing sunsets. It's within walking distance to Floridays restaurant and a short drive to the restaurants, shopping, and beaches on Anna Maria Island. I would highly recommend this location for your vacation!

Lovely stay in Bradenton!

We loved our time at this property. Beautiful view overlooking the water which was lovely to sit out and enjoy the weather. The condo was very well equipped and perfect layout for our family. Large TVs were a bonus! And the amenities at the pool were fantastic. Will definitely be back!

A Week in Paradise

The days were wonderful; the sunsets were beautiful; the weather was phenomenal; and our family time together was irreplaceable! The condo was clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary silverware, china, glasses, etc. My family and I had a marvelous time! We plan to return next year.

Comfortable and clean

The property was very clean and was very comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen that made it easy to cook our own meals and feel at home. Be aware that you do not make full payment through VRBO but are expected to pay the second part of the rental cost directly to the property management company by cheque. This was an issue we were not aware of when we booked and was a small issue for us as we are not based in the US and do not have access to US cheques to pay the final balance, so we had to pay an additional fee to pay the balance with credit card.

Fantastic Stay!

This place is gorgeous-even prettier than the pictures! The water is stunning. The decor is beautiful and fun! Location is idyllic if you don’t mind not being ON the island (which we didn’t). The beach is less than five minutes away and the AMI restaurants and shops are about a 10-15 min drive away. When we had an issue with the Keurig, the owners sent a brand new one THAT DAY! They had great amenities - including everything you could need for the beach! Umbrellas, sand chairs, wagon, sand toys, etc. Our only issue was that, if you don’t talk to Island Vacation Properties during regular working hours M-F, you aren’t getting a call back. We did not receive any checking-in instructions, called, left a message, and received no call back. We eventually had to call maintenance which I’m sure they didn’t love. When we had checking-out questions, we left a message, no call back. That’s not the owner’s fault, but I read this same complaint on other reviews and I’m surprised Island Vacation Properties doesn’t fix it. Overall, stay here! You’ll love it!

One Particular Harbour #202

The unit and the property are excellent and even better than pictures. The decor provides a chic yet beach-like feel. Anything that you would need for a lengthy stay away from home was provided with regard to kitchen utensils and appliances. There were two areas of opportunity for improvement that I noted. The check in process would have been seamless had we been informed that we needed to enter the property to the left of the main entry gate. It was very late and dark when we arrived which made signage impossible to read. Also, the pipes make a loud, horn-like sound after flushing the toilet in the master bathroom. This property is new so I’m sure it’s just a wrinkle that needs to be ironed out. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
