Rip Curl is an immaculately presented, 6 bedroom contemporary holiday home perfectly situated in a peaceful corner of the popular Sandy Way within easy reach of the village and enjoying direct access to a picturesque footpath which reaches the dunes in 5 minutes and beach in just 10 minutes maximum.

Cooking/Dining/Living
The stunning contemporary kitchen/dining room with full width bi-fold doors opens onto the back garden being well equipped with a gas hob, 2 large integrated ovens, microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of storage space. Fabulous space for conjuring up a culinary delight whilst still being engaged with the family. Just behind this living space there is a very useful utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and extra storage and a very spacious wetroom with 2 showers.

Rip Curl has a large and comfortable living room with French doors leading to the front garden and a large corner sofa, together with a flat screen television and wood burner- ideal for those guests joining us on cosy winter evenings.

Sleeping/Bathing
One of the double bedrooms is situated on the ground floor and benefits from a stylish and modern shower room just across the hallway. This spacious bright and airy bedroom has a flat screen television and built in wardrobe.

The large landing at the top of the stairs leads to the other 5 bedrooms and the main bathroom, featuring a bath and separate shower. Upstairs there are a further two double bedrooms (one with a sofa and flat screen TV), a bunk room and two single rooms- all the rooms are very spacious indeed.

Outside
Rip Curl benefits from a private lawned garden which has a large, decked terrace, a great separate outdoor seating area, fire pit and hot tub (additional charge applies) - the perfect space for those warm summer evenings spent with families or friends after a fun day on the beach. From the garden, there is a footpath which is accessed through a gate at the rear. This footpath will lead you out to the beautiful Croyde beach.

Near the driveway you will find decked pathway which leads around to the back garden passing an outdoor shower and surfboard area on the way. The garden is fully enclosed with a lawned area and a large terrace with built in seating, fire pit and hot tub (charges apply)! The property also has a lockable external shed in the front garden where two sun loungers and the BBQ are stored, which can also be used to store bikes or beach items during your stay (please note the owners do not accept responsibility for any items stored inside)

BOOKING INFORMATION
Please note that you are booking via an external channel and not directly through Ocean Cottages, therefore any information not provided directly from Ocean Cottages cannot be fully relied upon and pricing may differ. Please check payment and cancellation terms prior to confirming your booking.

There is a refundable security deposit of £350 payable with the final balance (not applicable to Airbnb bookings) - please note this will not be shown in the total cost of the booking on the summary screen. The security deposit is refunded within 14 days of departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection)

Full payment is due if arrival is within 10 weeks. For bookings made 10+ weeks in advance a deposit of 50% plus the £60 non-refundable booking fee is due. The final balance and security deposit (if applicable) is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

For Bookings confirmed with VRBO, Ocean Cottages will take your payment prior to confirming your booking, this could be up to 72 hours after receiving your confirmation from VRBO. If we are unable to accept your booking, we will contact you as soon as possible. Airbnb take payment on our behalf and pay us after your stay, they will confirm the dates and amounts due when you make your booking.

It is not possible to add any extras when booking via VRBO/Airbnb and therefore the costs of any extras will not be included within the price shown, extras must be requested and paid for directly with Ocean Cottages.

Please note, to ensure optimum cleanliness & hygiene of the hot tub, it will be completely emptied, cleaned, sanitised and re-filled with water and chemicals on your arrival day. Therefore, the hot tub may not be up to temperature until the morning after your arrival.

Great Location for a Beach Holiday
The property is very well equipped and large enough for eight people to stay in comfort. The quiet location is excellent with a short walk to Croyde Beach and also to the village of Croyde. The hot tub was a big plus for all the kids.

Great house, great location and perfect for our stay. Loved it!
The house is really close to the beach and the town for local pubs and shops. It’s well kitted out and the hosts put nice extra touches to give you a great welcome. We loved the hot tub and it was great to be able to get in it straight away! I loved staying here, the house is fantastic and would 100% come again!
