Nice resort but be aware of extra fees

We were just looking for a place to crash for 2 nights, not necessarily looking for a resort experience. The price seemed good but then we got hit for an extra $45 per night resort fee for amenities we never used, which made it a lot more expensive than we anticipated. Nice place though.

This was the nicest hotel that accepted dogs I've ever seen! The staff, inside and out were way above and beyond! I wish I remembered the front desk gals name who helped us, she remembered mine all weekend. The valet drivers were amazing and always fast. Our Corgi got a welcome bag with gifts and treats. The food was good also.

The property seemed to be understaffed, valet parking was inefficient despite the $55 per night fee. It was a long hike to the room using two different elevators - and there was only one elevator going to each level. Lots of dogs staying at the hotel.

Okay, but other places are better

Resort is fine, only offers valet parking. If you stay above the 6th floor you will have to use two separate elevators to get to your room or down to the lobby. If you get a room with only a window, be prepared for hot nights. The AC is only programmed to go as low as 68. If you crack the window you get three inches of opening. Do not recommend. If you need just a room and don’t care to sleep really hot then this place is for you.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and they were so helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful. My only complaint is that it was kind of a pain to get up to our floor. We had to take two elevators. It wasn’t ideal but still worth the stay. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, the hotel remodel is really nice, but you all have to get a handle on parking fees. $40 for overnight parking when all of that space is available and unused is entirely unreasonable. My guess is that the town of Breckenridge controls that but anyway…

The A/C was set at 68 and we were unable to lower the temp. The sheets!!! How do you have loud sheets....every time one of us moved in that bed all night long you could hear the sheets moving. No, I was was under the influence of anything!!
