The property is well located. Easy access to town and the mountain. The free underground parking was an excellent amenity. The kitchen in the suite was fully stocked for cooking.

We love the Mountain Valley Lodge!! We have stayed here numerous times and will continue to come back!! It has beautiful views all around. The parking garage is pretty tight for pickups but other than that it gets a 5 out of 5 from us!

Check in Time not honored

Pros: location
Cons: don't make paying customers wait because of staffing issues
We arrived at the Marriott around 3:45PM to check in for a one night stay. We were told our room was not ready, so we decided to take a seat and wait since official check in time is 4PM. At 4pm, we were told it would probably be an hour or so, and they provided a $25 voucher for a nearby restaurant. They told us one of the housekeeping staff had called out, so they were short staffed. As we were tired from skiing all day and just wanted to get to our room and change to enjoy the hot tub, this really wasn't how we had planned our evening. Checkout time is 10am, so we only had use of our room from 5pm until 10am. To add insult, as I was checking out at 08:30am, I heard another guest being told "your room is ready" and he checked in at 0830. Maybe we were treated this way because we didn't book directly and had used Travelocity? Who knows, but it's not a good way to do business. Overall the villa was nice. Stairs heading to it look like a parking garage, dirty and dated. Great location.
