From a wonderful, friendly, professional staff to an excellent location, this hotel was the best choice for our vacation. What a fantastic little place! Right on the lake, with incredible sunset views. We walked into the main town, which was about a 10-15 minute stroll along the lake. Absolutely beautiful!

View from balcony was unreal, such a gorgeous place. Brienz is a must see, no skip place! Would absolutely recommend staying here! Lots of hiking spots in the area!

There’s much to be commended about this hotel. It’s a little distance from the train station and most restaurants, but it’s a beautiful spot with a good view of the lake and mountains. The breakfast is incredible. The only real issue we had (apart from fairly high price) was that the staff was pretty rude just about anytime we interacted with them in any way. We ended up just trying not to ask for anything. Otherwise it was a good stay.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Brienz. I am so grateful for their excellent customer service. Our train left late due to an accident at the station, and then we missed our following train. We were going to miss the first night of our stay, but they were so sweet and moved it to the end instead. I am so thankful! Also very helpful in ideas of things to do on a rainy day. The room was spacious and the newly remodeled bathroom was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Brienz. Our room was very clean and the view was beautiful. The hotel, like most in Switzerland, has no air conditioning so we slept with the windows open and woke up to the smell of baking bread from the bakery a few doors down. The breakfast is included and had a very nice selection. Our table was waiting for us with a chalkboard sign for a personable touch. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner. Four courses for 49chf, it was delicious.
