Appreciated my quiet bedroom, but it was a long way from reception when my keycard stopped working, but reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. However, paying for the car park was very difficult and frustrating.

Really disappointing stay. The room was far from as described, no slippers or robes. The bed was extremely old, uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy. The bathroom was tired, even rusty around the shower.

Room was disappointing. Radiator was really dirty in between the fins which visible and should be easy to clean. Carpet is cream which showed up a lot of stains and back of bathroom door had stains down it near the bottom which was rather unpleasant. Bed was comfy and room had enough facilities. Hotel looks a little tired with carpets and decorating on stairway and corridors. Staff all pleasant and service was good. Think it is overpriced based on the above but overall not too bad.

Mecure Brighton - Old school charm right on the seafront. Lovley welcoming staff. Clean and spacious room. Great choice for breakfast. Travelled for the London Brighton Bike Ride. Nice find was 'The Hole In The Wall' nearby!

Ok the hotel is in a nice location on the water. Plenty of restaurants around. A lengthy walk to the pier and a shorter walk to Eye 360. However, mid August still fairly warm and No AC. Yes, no AC. Seems to be acceptable in England to have no AC in hotels but just a small fan you place on the desk to attempt to cool off your room. What else can I say, I’ve stayed at a Mercure in Nice and thought it was top notch so I selected this on based on the name.
