Misleading Property Details but Good Location
The location is amazing, but our family was ultimately disappointed with our stay.We cleaned the property throughout our two-day stay. We even washed blankets in the living room areas upon arrival because they were dirty and smelled as if they had not been washed.We had to wash all dishes by hand because the dishwasher did not work. The dishwasher was a compact countertop model, about one-quarter the size of a standard dishwasher. This is not the type of appliance one would expect in a full house rental. You would typically find it in an RV or use when camping though! Before leaving, we stripped the sheets from the beds and started the first load of laundry. We placed our garbage outside the property, as the street trash bins were already excessively full prior to our arrival.The property does not properly disclose devices for security purposes. We unplugged a patio camera due to privacy concerns. The "office" mentioned in the listing is in the washer/dryer room, which is slightly better than a tiny basement. Here is a picture of the BBQ that was out of propane and not cleaned when we arrived for the Fourth of July.Two days after checking out, we were charged 250 in damages thru VRBO. We requested proof of alleged damage and have received nothing.
