I was given roon 69 that was stinking in cleaning or some bleach kind of odour. Requested for another room - reception came and checked the room and was given room 68. This room was reasonable - still had some sort of smell but we managed it with aircon operating. The shower is so small that you keep hitting the walls and I wear medium clothing. The shower head was broken but I didn't bother to tell the reception staff. Was in the room for 3 nights. The bed was one bouncy bed - that is all I would say. No issues with staff - very pleasant and receptive. This is the first reviews I am writing on any hotel. I don't know how they are a 4 star hotel - does not add up. Oh, the drainage in the shower had a sewer odour and I covered that with a towel each day. Not trusting the star ratings anymore.

An alarm was set in the room by a previous guest for 6.30am and it took 1 hour to work out how to turn it off. The room was facing a busy street and was particularly noisy. I had a very disturbed nights sleep.

Nice hotel - love the high ceilings. It is a little old /tired in places, and the walls are a little thin. Close walking distance to many restaurants. I would say overall a good stay. Would stay here again for an airport overnighter at a reasonable price.
