I arrived at the hotel at 6:00 pm. The taxi driver from the airport had never heard of this place before( my first clue) I could not get in the front door, there was a call box for after hours check in. But I couldn’t imagine 6:00 was after hours. When I called the line I found out that I needed to pay $100 over the phone without even walking in. I paid and was given a combo to a safe with my room key in an envelope. When I used it to get in the front door, the hotel smelled bad. Reception was behind a plexiglass shield. My daughter and I entered a veri small elevator after dragging our luggage down a few steps to it. We went to our second floor room above the pool. I don’t know where they got the pictures and reviews but this place is a dump. There was no pool, the bathroom looked nothing like the pictures. There were holes in the ceiling and walls. There was corrosion on the faucets. The bedding was scratchy but seemed clean. Beds were rock hard. The room smelled. We couldn’t work the remote for the air so we called down and someone explained it but said don’t turn it too low or it will break down and it took forever to cool down. The only good thing about this motel( because that’s what it really is) was that it was walking distance from the very nice wharf. Many other better hotels on the wharf. Don’t stay here!!!!
