Lovely location
Lovely location and property though you do not stay in the one shown in the initial listing photo - this is the owners property. Owner lives on site so is on hand if you need anything. Well equipped property with all facilities you need for a home away from home.

Quiet countryside retreat
A comfortable property let down a little by minor issues. 2nd bathroom needs some TLC. Edging from carpet to wooden flooring needs attention. Cupboard door needs fixing. TV freeview so limited HD channels but plenty of other channels to watch. Parking secure right outside property. First picture is of owner's House not the barn you stay in. Otherwise a good time away and attentive host. Recommend for 2 couples as 2nd bed is a double.

Lovely
Really nice and our hosts were great. A couple of points though. As the property is self catering, it would be beneficial if there was sufficient cupboard space in the kitchen to put packs/cereals Tec, also make plain that the fridge is a ladder fridge and does not have a freezer. Otherwise it was great. Nice location, we felt very private, the dog loved it too. Thanks for a lovely break.

Brilliant, can fully recommend
My partner and I, along with my brother and his wife (plus one dog) had a mid week break at Bagstone Barn, we were all surprised about the size of the converted cow shed, very spacious and very well equipped. James and his wife really make you feel really welcome. Great location, for visiting the larger cities in the area, but better still are the nearby villages, bridle paths for walking, local pubs/restaurants. While James overlooked ordering some sunshine we had no complaints about the accommodation, the welcome, the facilities, or the surprise of provisions supplied on arrival, (milk, butter bread, coffee, tea ect). We all had a throughly great time and would recommend Bagstone Barn.

Great location for a West Country visit
We stayed here for three nights to attend a family function nearby. Three adults, my wife and myself and my mother in law….with two dogs. We were met by our host James who was friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was all on one level and was clean and comfortably furnished. Many nice touches, a very nice coffee machine with a supply of beans and a nice welcome pack of bread, butter jam etc. we would have happily stayed longer but the accommodation was excellent fir our short stay there. We would be happy to recommend it.
