AccĂšs aux chambres exigu (escaliers pour les chambres au sous-sol!), hĂŽtel pouvant ĂȘtre trĂšs bruyant suivant la chambre. Chambres pas trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©es et garnies de toiles d'araignĂ©es. Ventilation salle de bain dĂ©faillante dans plusieurs chambres. Service mĂ©nage Ă  parfaire: ne pas mettre le tapis de bain sur les serviettes... Je n'y reviendrai pas!

HÎtel proche de l'université.

Personnel trÚs accueillant. La chambre au sous-sol (au rez-de-chaussée de l'autre cÎté...) était plus grande que les autres, trÚs correcte. Juste de mauvaises odeurs par moment dans la salle de bain.

Good value, comfortable hotel

The hotel is in an attractive building and the superior double was a reasonable size and well decorated. Bed a little soft, but ok. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Well situated between central Bristol and Clifton Village

We had booked and paid for bed and breakfast but when we arrived we were told there was no kitchens in the building and we would have to go out to find breakfast. Also we were on the fourth floor and there was no lift and 51 steps to our room. The room was spotless and the shower very good.

When we first walked into the hotel, there was a strong smell of body odour and the smell was in our room as well, which wasn’t particularly pleasant. The bed itself was comfy and had no faults. The room came with two full length mirrors and tea/coffee which was handy however the cleanliness of the room seemed concerning. The floors also had darkish stains which followed the whole room around. The bathroom was quite small and the ceiling had weird brown stains seeping through the top. As for parking, there was no parking in front of the hotel so we had to park a 10 minute walk away which isn’t handy for those with a lot of luggage. The staff were ok and friendly enough however they weren’t very professional.

My room was very comfortable and clean and quiet. The bed was very good and I slept very well. The tea and coffee in the room was much appreciated. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go to in the city, and close to my daughter’s university accommodation. I will definitely stay again and it was much cheaper than the usual budget hotels I have stayed at. Also I was able to park in front of the hotel for £10 for 2 x nights stay which was great.

We were very disappointed with the Regency Clifton Oyo. I didn't want to leave a negative review, but the hotel responded poorly through Expedia's customer service, so here we are. TL;DR: dirty room when we arrived, then improperly cleaned. Room also in disrepair, but I had to get my young children to bed. My complaint was disregarded. Full story: my two daughters (aged 4 and 6) and I arrived at 7pm (having completed virtual check in) and found the room hadn't been cleaned. Bedding and towels everywhere, food on the beds. We went downstairs and spoke to the front desk. He said "give me twenty minutes" and then took nearly an hour to clean the room. When he was finished, I had to get my exhausted children to bed as fast as possible. Thankfully the bedding was clean. But the rest of the room was a disgrace. Stained carpet with wrappers, dried ramen, crumbs and random plastic on the floor. The radiator was broken, so we had an antique, chipped heater. The towels were stained and the shower was hairy. The towel rail was missing, the bathroom door had been badly fixed, the toilet seat didn't fit. The blind was broken. The spare toilet rolls were stained. A mirror wasn't on the wall. The place was a disgrace. I didn't have any other option. It was gone 8pm. We made a swift exit the following morning. After our stay I lodged a complaint through Expedia with photos. We were told it wasn't hotel policy to offer refunds or apologies. Don't stay in this hotel. You're worth more.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The photos on Hotel.com look nothing like the filthy disgusting mess that you are faced with. Heating wasn't working and even though I managed to find someone on reception, I was ignored. Only half of my room was carpeted and the other half had a bed sheet on the floorboards! Wardrobe and bedside table looked like they'd been taking out of a skip, bed side lamp wasn't working. Window was closed but the floral, 1970's style curtains were still blowing in the wind due to the rotting frames. The half carpet was full of stains and the filthy dirty bathroom was a shared one between 3 other rooms.

Wow, where to begin! We arrived at 3:15 with our room numbers assigned but my friend went upstairs to find police tape over the door, this was the room he was 'upgraded' to! When he went to reception he was told that no other rooms were available so there was a mad rush to find somewhere else close by as we had a rugby match to attend at 5pm. Availability last minute was scare and the cheapest hotel was ÂŁ228. As such he is out of pocket by approximate ÂŁ110 (difference in cost). Other things wrong with the other two rooms : - cigarette burns in the carpet - musty towels - noise from the street (drunken students on their way home) - noise from the other rooms (walls very thin) - blood in the sink - leaking shower - rooms dirty overall If we had paid ÂŁ25/30 / night maybe we could some of these faults could be overlooked but it was just over ÂŁ100 for the night. I would recommend this hotel is delisted and I would like a response in relation to additional cost incurred as a result of there being no rooms available. Avoid at all cost!

Incredibly poor. The day of our stay, the hotel was cancelled by OYO due to double booking. When I called the hotel they were unsympathetic and did not support in any sense to get us compensation or support booking a room. I am incredibly disgusted by the services we received and I will not be booking a OYO hotel again.

We turned up 10minutes after the time we originally said due to traffic. The room wasn’t made the bed was messy, it stunk of alcohol and their was left over wine bottles from the night before and ee got told to wait an additional 10/15mintues for them to do the room. Said we would get a refund as we didn’t stay but have heard nothing of it. Now they are saying we never turned up when that was never the case
