Large comfortable room that was well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay, plus the pub is downstairs with great food and drinks! Highly recommended!
A great pub with clean, functional
Rooms which included aircon (essential right now!) Staff were all wonderful and made the check in / check out all easy. Definitely consider staying here at the top of Gloucester Road.
Our second stay at The Wellington. A lovely gastro pub with B&B. Pub is lovely with great food.
Room was large and light and airy with very comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. Bathroom is beautiful with a great shower, lovely towels and Elemis toiletries, even conditioner and body lotion.
Tea and coffee facilities and water provided.
Lovely choice for breakfast and cooked beautifully (eggs royale for me, full english for him)
Staff lovely and friendly. Helped us out with taxi and very informative.
Highly recommend
I am so pleased I booked to stay three nights at the Wellington. Unlike a sterile chain-hotel, it was so comfortable and friendly. Even though the pub downstairs was buzzing I couldn't hear anything upstairs in my room from the pub or from any other guests, it was such a peaceful haven. My room had comfy armchairs as well as a huge desk that I could work at. I was also impressed with the cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom, everything was spotless. Plus, the staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were good too. Honestly, I can't fault it. Thank you for a really relaxing stay.
Really nicely furnished and decorated room and bathroom with a lovely comfy bed. A vast bath and shower, a separate seating area for two and a nice hospitality tray. It would have been a great room to catch up on some work if I had needed to. It was also really quiet; I had been a bit worried about this as I have stayed in some pubs where the noise in the room has affected sleep. Some of the furnishings were a little tired. Breakfast was served at 8.30, which in.my opinion is quite late. Had I known this when I booked I wouldn't have paid for it as I had to leave at 8.15 and there was no alternative offered apart from a packet of dry cereal (I had to ask to borrow a bowl and a spoon and go and buy milk) and a sandwich made up the night before which I never got.
