Honeymoon Hideaway is a story-book romantic couple’s cabin nestled among the pines and hardwoods in the heart of beautiful Hochatown. This studio cabin is the perfect place for a couple in love to honeymoon, celebrate an anniversary or simply escape and recharge. This little hideaway is perfect for anyone that has been looking for some serious R&R. A deep relaxing road in our spacious free standing tub is the perfect way to end each day.

Anniversary get away
This place makes for a perfect weekend retreat. Quiet, private, close and convenient if you need something quick or even a night out for dinner. I highly recommend it.

Cute cabin & Great location
Cabin is so cute and clean. Received code to get in ahead of time, didn’t work for us but a woman showed up right when we pulled up and got us in. Enjoyed the cabin and the area very much. Would definitely stay here again!

Worst vrbo experience so far
Booked months in advance. Check in was 4 pm. Did not receive code by check in. Called VRBO because host was not responding. Had to pay for a hotel the first night. Got code that night; but it didnt work. Come to find out she gave emailed code for the cabin next door. This was a different address than when we booked it. Since there was no one else around we assumed she moved us to a bigger cabin…wrong because the second night someone came knocking on the door at 9pm with the same code and booking. A nightmare because the host only communicates with email. Should have payed more attention to the reviews. Host didnt make it right or help out..We left 3 days early because we didnt feel safe. Host never contacted us back. Doubt we will get any reimbursement.

I could not be happier with this rental. Host was very communicative when I contacted them. Clean, quiet, beautiful, well furnished - 10 out of 10!!!

Absolute nightmare
Trust the reviews on Google and VRBO when you’re considering this stay. You cannot get in touch with the host and neither can VRBO. My check in was Saturday at 4PM. I never received any check in instructions at all. I drove 4 hours to stay at this property only to have to drive all the way back after waiting 2 hours for a reply. Still never got a response from the host via the app or via text. I FINALLY received a response on Monday. Two days after my check in. The audacity this host has to continue listing this property, swindling people, and pretending not to receive communication is astounding. To add insult to injury the listing boasts about the amenities offered which is laughable considering the email you eventually receive from the host blames previous visitors for the lack of supplies and all things wrong with the property. When I say this is the worst host ever I mean ever. In a time where people are doing their best financially and looking for affordable getaways this type of behavior is embarrassing and despicable on the part of a host. Don’t waste your time with this property. Unless you also want to pay for another stay until you can eventually get ahold of the host. Good luck to you if you decide to give it a shot.

Host never gave access! Had to pay for another rental last minute!
We messaged the host the day before, and hour before, and as we arrived asking for the access code. No response. We called the number for her and it said it was not accepting calls. Had to call VRBO and was on hold while they tried to contact her and they had no luck. Check in was at 4 and by this point it was almost 8. We ended up having to find another cabin last minute costing us more money. VRBO says they are working on a refund but we are still waiting on that. Heard from the owner late at night with a message that says she meant to send the email the day before but that it didn’t go through, even though all the reviews say she told people she doesn’t send it until the day of. She has a history of this. She shouldn’t be allowed to rent on this site. Our weekend was mad 10x more stressful after having to come up with an additional $500 on the spot to find a place to stay.
