This is the second room I’ve used where its door had been kicked in and patched. Security chain/ lock missing. Air conditioner not working. Broken light fitting shade on the wall. Generally disappointing

Steve and Jodie Wallace were so helpful and kind to us especially on our first night. Our train arrived very late & then no luck finding a late meal. We called them for advice on an alternative which they were able to offer. Steve also kindly put the heater on in our room which was so appreciated. The start to 3 lovely days in Broken Hill. This is a lovely motel run by new owners. They will need to update furniture such as bed, table, chairs, television and couch. They all look good but can be uncomfortable as they have come to the end of their lives. Still usable and I am sure the new owners will be looking to improve overtime. I would recommend this motel.

Quiet location but away from clubs, town, restaurants. Servicing on request. Spacious rooms but layout a bit off....TV (old, not smart) and couch at right angle so not ideal for watching. Comfy bed. Nice welcome.

Steve and Jodie have taken over the property one week earlier. They made it easy to check in, the property was neat and clean , bed was comfy, shower was great. TV reception was almost nonexistent but Steve knows about this and is working on having this and the internet rectified. Would definitely stay here again next time we are coming through.

Very convenient and comfortable place to stay. Easy to drive out to Silverton to visit Mad Max Museum. Enjoyed visiting Pro Hart Gallery and the Miners Monument was very interesting. Had a lovely meal at the Astra Hotel. Would go back and stay.
