If you're looking for a secluded nature-y get away with your furry friend, this checks the box. Pros:- Fully stocked kitchen. I was able to cooked meat and make soup. It was nice to have a dish washer. The sink was big as well.- Big TV. I have a Netflix account so I was able to sign in and watch Netflix at night in the living room with my dog. - Nice office space with large windows. Half of the windows were blocked by redwood trees but still nice to have the view of the forest.- Surrounded by fresh air and nature, lots of places to go for a stroll.Cons:- The pictures do look like the house in terms of layout and furnishing but don't quite look like the home as it's in need of a little bit TLC. Cracks and chips in paint, worn floors... the space doesn't look "like new" as the pictures. For me, it wasn't a big deal as the location and functionality was more important.- The kitchen didn't have a fume hood. You'll need to open the doors when you're cooking which unfortunately allowed mosquitos in. Other Comments:- I stayed in November so it was a bit chilly at night. The heater at the time was not working but the property stocked a portable heater which did the job. The bed are also quite warm. I prefer cold over hot so if you don't, this may be a bit cold for you.- Bathroom is quite small, may not be great for large/tall folks.- I have an anxious dog. Almost every house in the neighborhood has dogs. I couldn't really go walking with my dog without being barked at.
