Within yards of the seafront, the hotel is very practically located. The staff were courteous, friendly and multi-lingual (English, French and German). Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. At £40 per night including a continental breakfast, I was very happy. Had it been costlier, I would have been disappointed.
Note that the reception desk is not always staffed and you need to check-in by 1800hrs. I turned-up at midnight and was lucky to find someone to let me in. Guests are given keys to the hotel's main entrance, so can come and go as they please.
