A Lovely Stay in Loppem

We had a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners when we arrived for our stay in Loppem. This is a bright, comfortable home with plenty of space and a lovely garden which is surrounded by countryside including a pony in the field next door and a couple of horses owned by the owners, but with only a short 10 min walk into the town where you can find a supermarket, coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants. The house is well equipped with comfy sofas and beds, satellite TV and a choice of tables to eat at in the open plan ground floor (outside, kitchen or dining area). This property also offers easy access to Bruges, Ghent and Brussels and we visited all three cities for a bit of shopping, eating out (can recommend Mister Spaghetti in Bruges) and had to visit the Torture Museum (also in Bruges, but may be don't take your young children here though!). Even closer to home is Loppem Castle which is also worth a visit. The owners live next door and are very helpful if you need any information or help. We had a throughly enjoyable stay and can recommend!

My husband and I took a short vacation with our dog and this property was perfect for a country get away. The home was very welcoming and the hosts were fantastic. Just what we needed to relax and enjoy our time away from home.

Stunning House in a lovely area of beautiful Belgium

This is a perfect place to stay to visit the coast, Bruges and nearby Loppem which you can walk into. Nicole was very helpful, the house is stunning and the Hamam is a lovely way to wind down at the end of the day. The people we met in Belgium were very friendly and welcoming, the beer is obviously on a different planet and every meal we had (all traditional Flemish) were delicious! Thanks again.

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und der Garten schön ruhig und ausreichend. Liegestühle statt nur Liegen wären schön, ging aber auch so. Das Haus ist ein guter Startpunkt für diverse Ausflüge…wir waren in Paris, an der Nordsee und den Niederlanden.Wir haben das Haus als sehr hellhörig empfunden, man hört jeden Schritt und jedes Wort von unten bis oben. Leider hatten wir auch den Eindruck, dass seit der (im Text genannten) Renovierung in 2017, wenig erneuert wurde. Das Haus wirkt sehr „abgewohnt“, z.B. werden die Ablagen in der Kühlschranktür bzw Griffe mit Klebeband fixiert, das Geschirr/Besteck ist wild durcheinander und nicht für 8 Personen gleich, Kabel hängen aus der Decke bzw. Rohrleitungen schauen aus dem Fußboden und uns ist nicht klar, wie 8 Personen in einem kleinen Bad ohne genügend Hängemöglichkeiten für Handtücher auskommen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und wie gesagt, das Haus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele tolle Ausflüge, auch nach Brügge. Vielleicht sind wir etwas zu penibel und andere Gäste empfinden es anders, aber eine ehrliche Rezession hätte uns im Vorfeld geholfen.Trotzdem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt mit vielen schönen Erlebnissen und Belgien ist immer eine Reise wert.

Perfektes Ferienhaus für einen unvergesslichen Familienurlaub!Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Lage ist absolut traumhaft: Eingebettet in eine wunderschöne Naturlandschaft findet man hier die perfekte Ruhe und Entspannung, die man sich im Urlaub wünscht. Gleichzeitig ist man erstaunlich nah an allem, was man braucht: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind schnell erreichbar und auch beliebte Ausflugsziele wie das charmante Brügge oder der Strand sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt – die ideale Mischung aus Naturerlebnis und Kultur.Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zur Abreise fühlten wir uns bestens betreut und willkommen.Das Haus selbst ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und strahlt eine warme, einladende Atmosphäre aus. Es lässt wirklich an nichts fehlen; die Ausstattung ist hervorragend und wir haben alles gefunden, was wir für einen entspannten Familienurlaub benötigten. Wir haben uns mit der ganzen Familie vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt und konnten die Zeit hier in vollen Zügen genießen.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes, sehr schönes Ferienhaus

Sehr stilvoll und mit vielen gemütlichen Details eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Sehr hundefreundlich, guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge, Brügge ist ein Traum und der Hundestrand in Blankenberge sehr gut. Das Gastgeberehepaar war sehr herzlich, immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses gemütliche Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Liebe Grüße

Aangenaam verblijf

Prima! Aangename, rustige vakantie in een mooi vakantiehuis. De eigenaars waren heel vriendelijk, zelfs eitjes van hun kippen gekregen. Dit verblijf is een aanrader voor wie van rust houdt maar ligt ook vlakbij Brugge en de kust.

Heerlijke vakantie!

Het is een heel fijn huis. Ruim genoeg om met het hele gezin te verblijven. Het is landelijk gelegen waardoor je echt een vakantiegevoel hebt en tegelijk een centrale plek om van alles te doen, Brugge, Knokke en Damme liggen in de buurt. De dag begint al relaxed met buiten ontbijten. Je hoeft niet persé alle dagen iets te ondernemen want thuisblijven is ook fijn. Veel goede restaurants in de omgeving waarvan we hebben genoten, zoals Ten Voute, Bar Bulot en Jade. Kortom een aanrader en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! De gastvrouw en -heer zijn heel gastvrij en vriendelijk. En zeer goed bereikbaar.

Alles Wunderbar

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, die Lage ist auch perfekt! Wir hatten unsere beiden Hunde dabei, was auch super geklappt hatte mit dem eingezäunten Garten. Nur das Wasser ist kein Trinkwasser und riecht etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig beim Duschen, aber kein großes Problem. Sehr gerne wieder!
